AKME started this season by talking about the importance of roster consistency in team building. It didn't make sense after our major collapse, but maybe they really believed that Lonzo would be back by now.

Midway through the season, the team was just as much of a disaster and they held onto their convictions and brought back the exact same team. That was beyond stupid.

I can give them some big passes -- drafting Pat when Covid shut down the planet was difficult. Lonzo's injury derailed what started as an exciting season. Both tough breaks. Now get over it and do something.

LaVine was fine. Pat was NEGATIVE 17. Bench him, now.

This team is dead in the water. I see our win percentage progressively getting lower and lower, but not low enough to get a top 4 pick.

Billy is burying Zach in this postgame interview.
Especially with the lack of rotation on Hield. “Knowing your personnel”. “I got to find a way to help them more”… “We got to play more skillfully”

We might be inline of our biggest losing streak since the TERRI-BULL era. Look at the next like 15 games. Only Detroit would be favored in. We could seriously lose 9 straight.

BS - agenda driven post.

He had a team high 7 assists even with multiple guys passing up the open shots and getting called for travels and he was one of the most efficient guys out there but he should be giving up the shots to the guys that would also be passing up the WIDE open shots to get a travel called or take even tougher shot???

Don't make sense. There is a reason why no one likes Billy if he is advocating that.

All honesty, how many thought we would win this game after the 1st? I know I didn't.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

We need to hover around the spot we're in now. According to tankathon we're 7th best odds. Last time that happened we wound up with the 4th pick. I think folks need to remember those changed lottery odds have screwed over a few of the worst teams

I'm cool with milking this DDR injury and sitting him out for a fat minute and pray for a top 4 (*cough* 1 *cough*) pick.

These last two games were great tank losses.

Really need Indy and Orlando to start picking up Ws. We are right there.

At this point we shouldn't be expected to win any game, even against Detroit.

I made a comment about how we'd need to get up by 40 in order for the lead to be secure. It seemed like a joke. It wasn't.

Zach can accumulate as many stats as he wants between the 1st and 45th minute. But based upon a series of possessions where Zach has repeatedly taken the low percentage shot, the ill-advised angle to the corner, the poor in-game decision making with the ball in his hand — the success of these possessions begins and ends with him.

I caught the score at half time and was like "hmmm nice lead, still have the 3rd quarter to go, not sure how long that'll last".

I then checked again late in the 4th when the Pacers hit the 2 free throws to tie it at 108...

Classic 22-23 Bulls.

I'm generally quite defensive of Zach but this was a classic LaVine game. He plays pretty good to great for most of the night and is a big reason why we're in the game but then completely loses the plot in the final two minutes and was a huge reason we lost. He is just so unbelievably anti-clutch. We should expect more of him when he's our max player and is paid what he is.

I said it earlier. There's no point being good in the NBA for 46 minutes if you are going to suck in the final two minutes. Most games in the league are determined in the final stages, no matter how good the team.
