Want to see what our defense looks like with them together. Add in Zo and Smith and it should be good.

Billy has been subbing Zo/Terry with Buz for Coby Giddey/Ayo at the 6 min mark.

I’d like to see Zo Buz for Giddey Coby and run
Zo Lavine Pat Buz Vuc.

Swap out Vuc for Jalen and that's my dream lineup right now. Should be able to run with that lineup, with a lot of switchability on defense.

your dream lineup involves taking out the only starter who's actually playing well? I'd like the team to tank too. if the idea is to win, I'd question why Donovan refuses to play two tall guys at the same time. which is to say, you'd probably prefer to swap out Pat Williams in favor of Smith, one of the proven worst players in the NBA, as opposed to the guy putting up 20/10 on 66% TS.

If we’re going to tank, I really see no reason why we can’t play both.

I think they are actually a reasonably solid switching pair at the 3 & 4. There’s no position in the modern NBA.

That starter doesn't even try on defense, and doesn't run the floor with the rest of the team. Vuc is playing very efficiently on one side of the ball, and he has no place in this team's future.

Well I agree with you about the "future" part, but none of these guys had any future with the team 3 years ago and, for some reason, they're all still here. some of them even re-signed massive contracts despite not having a future here (or, in the case of PWill, not having a future in the NBA when they bring back the amnesty clause exclusively for him. I can't stress how bad and overpaid that guy is, bench him instead).
I've been saying Vuc can be a good trade piece for years and now he actually looks like one with two years left on his deal at a reasonable rate, let him keep playing himself into a trade. God knows they won't trade him, the bulls will be 20-28 and decide they can make a push for the play-in and trade the rest of our draft picks for an aging role player...a first round pick for Bojan Bogdanovic, who says no?

Nobody should be untradeable on this team for one reason or another (and I'm saying this as a Buzelis homer). There are probably only 10 players in this league that have that status. So it's less of a "committing to Matas" and more being "open to anything".

I think Buz will be getting plenty of mins after the trade deadline. I think him and Guddey are the two players AK won’t move.
