Well, well, well. Look what you wrote into existence you freaking witch.

Knowing Pop, he will use this as an excuse to tank. We might even see a Paul buyout. The only thing stopping this from happening is if Fox wants to make a playoff run. Even without Wemby and Paul, I think the Spurs have more talent than us but they are also more willing to openly tank whereas we are always trying to win games.

It's a huge longshot, but one consequence of this injury is that Portland will likely move ahead of SAS in the standings. Still incredibly unlikely they'll be able to move far ahead enough in the standings to get in the play-in territory, but it's possible --- especially if there are more key injuries.

Wow, just read about this now.

I had a blood clot in my shoulder, it's a pretty serious issue that I ultimately will never fully be the same from, and if I were a professional athlete, my career would have ended most likely. Hope Wemby has a better outcome.

If the Bulls lose to the Sixers and the Nets beat the Wizards tomorrow, the Bulls move into 7th and only half a game (I think) behind the 76ers for the 6th spot.

6th spot is where I think we will land.

Also think we will get the POR pick next year as they are improving and way more teams will tank next year when it’s the Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer, Ament draft.

Huge game tonight, lets get this L. Sounds like Embiid will be out. Hope we can respond with a few key DNPs as well (prob not)

Agreed, was hoping for 5th but the Raps have had a brutal schedule lately.
In our favor is that these teams have very easy schedules remaining.

There is no chance we lose to sixers tonight. And there is no chance we finish behind the sixers on the year. Bulls are going to keep trying to win games, and the sixers are absolutely tanking. I would bet large sums of money on the bulls finishing higher in standings than the sixers.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

If there was ever a game to openly throw, it is this one against the 76ers.

At least Smith is out. If they could sit Ball, our chance of losing gets much better.

It's totally realistic we get to 5 . That would be a huge coup from where we were in January sitting at 14 or so .

That would put the Bulls in line for poor mans Zach Lavine in Tre Johnson.

I don't think it's realistic the Bulls get to 5 at all. It's possible yes, but the Bulls would pretty much have to lose every game from here on out and the Raptors would have to go on a tear.

6th is a very possible landing spot though and would be good if they happen to stay there after the lottery as you get to pick what's leftover of VJ, Jakucionis or Tre (or Ace if he falls).

He's not my top pick, but based on where the Bulls might end up I'd be ok with it. They need to add as much talent as they can.

Draft Tre and then trade Coby for whatever assets you can get. Trade Vucevic too if you can

Then tank and try to get a star player in the 2026 draft.

I say this and don't think AK will do any of it.

I don't know. The Sixer have won against the Bulls each time already this season and that was with LaVine in the line-up. I'd imagine they'd rather try and make the playoffs (via the play-in) than give a pick in the 7-9 range to the Thunder.

I personally really like Tre Johnson, the guy can score. If Tre Johnson is your 'consolation prize' of what's left, that's pretty damn good in my opinion.

I haven't watched him enough, but I bet he's a smarter player than Zach...?

If he doesn't reach Zach level of scoring that's okay. He can still be quite good.

Top 4 will be Flagg, Harper, Bailey and VJ. The 5-6 range is KJ and Tre. I think KJ has kind of fallen off slightly since Illinois has hit a rough patch and Tre has been averaging 21 points over his last 9 games and he had good size 6'6" & 6'10" wingspan.
