Ugh, man that's embarrassing.

On the next ESPN 30 for 30 "Melo: Lala's Career Killed Mine"
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

Not really. 60 million and the question of Derricks knees plus the cap space they have can really justify his decision. Second place is where the bulls were always at.

Well crap, let's just all revel in the fact that we have THE BEST PLAYER IN EUROPE AS A FALLBACK PLAN.

I would say the LaLa thing is ridiculous but boy was she irrelevant when he played in Denver

Get Oprah on the horn and get her a reality series

Please explain to me how that crackpot theory explains Noah telling people that Melo is going to NY, if that actually did happen.

Because Melo would have recruited Noah to join up with him when his contract is over...It's how Noah knows he's staying...And it would explain why Noah doesn't give a **** telling randoms what's going on.

carmelo would be the greatest manipulator in human history in this situation

-noah spends four months recruiting melo, and melo lets him knowing that it will come in handy later
-melo talks about how he really wants to win during the meeting, a very unique attribute amongst professional basketball players
-melo convinces pau to take a meeting with the bulls so noah flies out there too
-melo breaks the hard news to noah in person about resigning with nyk, but says 'i really want to play with you in the future still'
-noah immediately checks out on his bulls career and counts down the days until he can finally play with the only human in this universe he cares about, carmelo anthony. he is so overcome with joy at this far-off occurrence that he shouts melo's decisions in the terminals of lax

Screw Lebron
Screw Melo

McBuckets is a reliable 1st option. This guy will give 20 points a night without even trying.

On a serious note, if they strike out on Melo, Gasol, AND can't even deliver Mirotic, then plan D should be to cancel our season. Another year of an early PO exit with no high lottery pick to show for it will be brutal to watch

I mean sure, yeah, that's the simple version of things, if you want to leave the role of the illuminati out of it.

My buddy met Craig Sager in downtown Chicago last winter.

Hell of a guy. Honestly, he makes the TNT broadcast even more enjoyable. Hate seeing good people struggle.

God bless.

"Hey Melo, we may or may not build you a team as good as the Bulls have been the past 4 years. Sign the contract."

Is she not irrelevant now? I literally only know that she exists because of Realgm.

@Mike_Bresnahan: One person in the Lakers' meeting room said Carmelo was "truly engaged in the conversation." Lakers can't predict if he'll sign, though.

LALA seems like a pretty cool wife.

She throws the pussy at MELO, let's him go to strip clubs and doesn't afraid of anything.
