Corey Joseph gone too now. Yeah we ain't getting a PG unless it's a trade.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Good (on Joseph being gone). Rather roll with what we have than sign Corey Joseph. He sucks. Holy crap what on earth were the Kings thinking.. Over $12M per for Joseph? 3/37. Good grief.

I get you might think that but Dunn and Archi suck ten times more and that is our problem still.

Coby being a rookie and 19 isn't an answer.

Seth Curry
Rajon Rondo
Isaiah Thomas

Those are the guys to look at. IT would simply be the hope and Nothing else. Curry can shoot as Depth Player and Rondo would be perfect.

Trade for Dragic, sign Rondo or sign Seth Curry. No other PG's available that I can see starting for us other than them. Bulls have a lot of faith in White or a lot of faith that Lavine will improve enough to run the offense through him.

The "tanking era" in the NBA could go down as the biggest epic fail in sports strategy history. Every tanker has struggled to ever get back to winning ways. Most tanking teams are still bottom dwellers. Philly was the last hope. Out of the Final 8 teams in the playoffs this season, they were the only one built on a tank. Good, I say. Death to all tanking teams.

It will be interesting how the balls fall for the next lotto. If it favors some of the teams with the worst records again, this bad habit of tanking may not be over yet.

But yeah, for the most part it seems like the teams viewed as the middle of the pack like Toronto or basketball hell like the Nets, Jazz, and Magic are making great strides or doing fine.

TOR, GSW, MIL, DEN, POR, HOU never tanked and they made up the bulk of the deep playoff teams this season. Hell, Toronto won a title without a lottery pick on the roster. MIL won more games than any team and they were also without a lottery pick and had a #15 win the MVP and two 2nd rounders in Middleton and Brogdon, as key players. Another #15 pick won Finals MVP and the three next best players on the Raps were a #27 (Siakam) and then three 2nd rounders in Gasol, Lowry and FVV.
True indeed...teams just have to continue to work with what they have man rather than rigging the lost column for the #1 pick because there's no science to knowing for sure who the next superstar may be even if there's an appeal to popularity for a specific guy. And even depending on outside superstars to join your club may be just a short visit until they bounce to another team, which is why things will usually come back to internal improvement, patience, and luck.

Joseph is worse. He averaged 6.5 PPG with a .474 TS%. He is already in decline. Both Dunn and Arci are better 3 pt shooters.

I'm not about Joseph, please understand my point. We haven't signed a vet PG and it's needed badly. This isn't some hot take. The discussion is broader than Joseph.

The talent pool isn't much broader though: Ish Smith, Rajon Rondo, Tomas Satoransky, and Seth Curry. Rondo is a Laker, and Valentine is every bit the 3 & no-D gunner that Satoransky and Curry are while also being the better ball-handler and play-maker as well. It's Ish Smith or bust, except even with Ish it's probably still a bust.

It was broader before the day started and GarPax thought getting a big was more important. I can't say I agree.

Bulls need to throw the remaining cap space at Curry. I really like how he played for the Blazers and you can never have enough good 3 point shooters, also keep him away from LA

Isnt Seth Curry more of an SG,than true PG?? I would prefer Rondo, but he will most likely stay in LaLa LAnd

He is, but he won't cause any drama and I'll take 45% from three over an aging Rondo who played just 46 and 65 games the last 2 seasons, the Bulls need to move the ball as a team more so than have one guy wanting to run the entire offense

So, in their deal the Nets got Kevin Durant, and an Achilles tendon to be named later, right? ;-)

Signing Seth Curry would be like making an Expendables movie with Frank Stallone.

I would have loved that deal for us. Think we missed out. Iggy and two first round picks is great value. Jealous of everyone but the Knicks at this point.

Heard it as 3 picks but that's still a great deal and Iggy would have been nice to have around to boot as you mentioned.

I t is one with declining protections.

We've been rebuilding for 2 years. How long has Philly been doing this???

sam hinkie had an actual plan and executed it optimally. four years of suckage. colangelo and brand have done their best to screw it up and they were still within a lucky shot of taking toronto to a game 7 overtime

bulls should've started rebuilding a year earlier too

Why do people continually say the Bulls don't have a plan? I just don't get that. Their plan is as clear as day.

People always over compensate. The Bulls will need to decide what to do with their pick when it is time. Not to overvalue their guys because of work ethic.

Did you watch him play last season?
