The 21 turnovers, 20 fouls and the 4-14 from downtown vs their 12-22 from downtown stick out to me. Did we again come out flat and did we not guard the three point line well?

Could someone summarize the game for me?

Your assumptions would probably be correct.

-sloppy overall play
-turnover fest..i think they had 4-5 straight turnovers to start the game
-rose was pressing big time, and his shot was off
-deng was dung
-knicks went off on 3's again
-bogans was in a Bulls uniform

Whoa, Rose was blocked 6 times? 12-28 from the field? Damn.

from an "and one" to nothing!!!

That was rough but it wasn't the biggest swing attributable to poor officiating: Amar'e seemed to goaltend a shot in the second quarter that then led to a fast break three.

@ admiral!

9 TOs after the first quarter!

Rose with nice Boxscore stats...apart from his TOs... he didn't played really good...but we would had lossed by 15 or more without him!,,,Difficult to explain...he made some bad things!

Agreed and it was clear from the start, he came out with something to prove, it was evident from his interactions with the crowd early in the 4th qtr, seemed out of character for him, great when it works, and it was later in the game but it didnt help his teammates get involved, I was surprised not to see more Boozer involvement in the offense even if he did finish with great numbers I would have liked to have seen a lot more touches

Rose had his wow moments but his decision making was off, he hesitated when he should have shot, he shot when he should have passed, hey it's going to happen, I just hate that we have to wait so long to play them again...then again by then Noah should be back and if both teams are healthy that game has no excuses, and I want us to blow them out

I miss what Gordon used to do to the Knicks, make them his b!tch time and time again in the 4th qtr

ya i was shocked we didnt use boozer in straight post ups more. even with his line, i think there shoulda been more boozer less rose. it really did look like rose was trying to win this one all by himself to the point of making bad plays. i want him to go to the rim more, but what he did today was some bad attempts at foul drawing and a lot of poor shots. his mid range game was falling well today yet that was the last shot he went to. if it werent for his great streak in the third i would say he played like crap.

yeah it was the OKC game all over again. It felt like he was trying to make some sort of statement. I think someone in the GT said it was like he wanted to drop 40 on the knicks unfortunately for today it was to the detriment of the team.

Thanks.

Did the Bulls give up wide-open threes like they did in their first meeting against New York?

The defense was really terrible, even average defense would have won the game. The Bulls are built offense through defense, and rebounding, and run. They had almost no fast break points. The Bulls allowed 53.2% shooting, 54.5% on 3s, for 103 points, on only 79 shots. TOs were bad too, but they sort of evened out, and you have no chance to win, if you let the opposition score that effortlessly.

With Rose and Boozer out there together, they need the rest of the group to be able to cover those holes, adding Korver into that mix was really ugly. It is going to be tough without Noah, but if they make a change, they better get better defense out on the floor.

More wide open than not...looked like Thibs picked the wrong poison to defend.

i thought the biggest problem was not running them off the three point line. even if its a wide open mid range shot, you have to do it with this type of team.

Not sure if you can compare the two games. From what I'm hearing, Rose's shot was off in this game from the get go. Against OKC, he had a great 1st half, offensively, so you'd expect him to continue his aggressive play in the 2nd half. He cooled down in the 2nd half, and instead of trying to get his teammates involved, he repeatedly kept taking bad shots.

Damn. Not sure how you can't score against a D'Antoni coached team.

yeah sorry just picture the 2nd half as this game. Rose was also really careless with his patented jump up in the air with no clear plan of what to do after you get up there which resulted in some turnovers. He also let Felton rattle off 5 or so consecutive pts which swung the momentum of the game.
