You don't think Lebron can take his talents to wind city and play for the Chicago Bulls, right?

LeBron will never be a Bull, it's like thinking you will score with the hottest girl in high school, your just teasing yourself. He won't leave south beach for lake michigan that's for sure.

Not really. 60 million and the question of Derricks knees plus the cap space they have can really justify his decision. Second place is where the bulls were always at.

Hey bro shut up, no need for that here

Let's be real

D-Rose's knees are a serious issue.

I love the guy but I'm not investing 5 years of my career with the hopes that he'll stay healthy. He goes down again and Melo's back where he started.

That's why, IMO, he was never a realistic option.

Csn chicago just brought up the idea of melo going back to NY, lebron staying in miami but restructuring it to make it possible for him to ditch to NY in a year or two.

One front office executive whose team is among the five in the running for Anthony (Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, and Lakers) is currently of the belief Anthony will choose between the Knicks, Bulls or Rockets. The executive spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the talks.

On a lighter note....
Really puts everything into perspective. It makes you realize that all the stressing and hoping for a professional athlete to come play for your team is trivial in the big picture.

Even if Rose doesn't return to form, Chicago is still a better team than the Knicks until proven otherwise. Melo is not taking a huge paycut by signing with another team if they can give him the max. There's literally like a $4 million difference until the 5th year kicks in.

Whats more likely to happen Rose staying healthy or a rookie gm and coach building a championship roster in five years?
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

So, it seems that we have dodged that bullet ... Now, lets make some serious moves ...

Return to Chicago Bulls
