So no one here thinks that "maybe" LeBron cares about the whole MJ Shadow thing because of his ego and knows how great of a basketball player he is....and can possibly become the greatest?

If LeBron is considered to arguably become the GOAT and play where the GOAT of all time played makes it different than any other argument about a player going to another team even though a certain great player played there.

Shaq going to the Lakers had nothing to do with Shaqs legacy. Shaq was never considered the GOAT. Shaq never even said he was the greatest center of all time....just the most dominant. Kobe can't even be mentioned because he was traded on draft night to the Lakers.

I don't see this argument being as dumb as some of you may see it. Some "experts" agree and some "experts" disagree.

If we were to trust your methods of reasoning and conclusions, we'd have to accept your rule that states you're not an idiot. And that's not possible.

It's impressive how Duncan has the balls to play in San Antonio, shouldering the burden of playing in Young-Duncan's shadow.

That's definitely sound reasoning.

I'm drink the ESPN "Lebron to the Bulls" Kool-Aid. But if he doesn't I won't be too disappointed. We do have mini-lebron in Mr. Rose.

that's the basically the only reason i have heard from fans and media alike say and yet fail to see the pressures that come with playing in Cleveland and New York if you are Mr. James pressure will always be there that's why the Jordan shadow reasoning rings somewhat hallow IMO.

It's not like Kobe and LBJ don't get compared to MJ now and no matter where he plays, he is going to be compared to MJ for life. IMO the pressure is just as big in NYC to be quite honest. NY fans turn on you in a second and the pressure of making NY a title team is pretty damn big, especially with the roster he'll get

Let's cut through all the BS. Does the logic make sense that he has a better chance of becoming the GOAT in NY rather than Chi?

If so, I would love to hear a reasonable argument.

My head hurts from reading the Knicks board. I don't know how some people do it. Its incredibly difficult.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?

it's not bad if you ignore any post with the word Rose and Gallo in them and also acknowledge the fact that they have a plan as Chicago has a plan, and point out the fact that having plans doesn't necessarily mean that plan will work. In general they're much like Chicago fans, they don't want to hear any negative spin from anyone, and will hype all positive spin as if it's straight from the lips of god.

I guess the only way would be if Knicks signed LeBron and another superstar....and the fact that the organization loves going into luxury tax even with a mediocre team. "If" that happens....LeBron has a shot and doing some some damage in NY.

As for the pressure of MJ's Shadow and pressure of playing in NY....i can understand that 100% but does LeBron and his ego understand that? No one knows....yet.

omg i was over there for 5 mins and im running a fever.

I love how Rose is not a fit with LBJ because Rose can handle the ball. Did they see LBJ turn it over 9 times in game 6?

i disagree. we at least try to sound objective and knowledgeable of both sides of the situation. we're even humble to a fault. for example.. bulls fans always begin and end with "personally, i dont think lebron is coming to chicago.. but.."). we know damn well we have a legit shot, you're not a homer if you feel this way.

then again, maybe thats just my bias talking and gallo really is the next dirk, and bosh has already agreed to terms with donnie walsh
