In my opinion Brandon Clarke was plainly better than Coby White. Other than that, it was kind of a wash of guys.

Although, it was funny when you had dummies simultaneously claiming that:

1. We missed on the elite prospects...
2. ...but we got the clear cut BPA at #7!

Which is a pretty good way to reveal you have no idea what you're talking about.

This clip alone is more entertaining than the Bulls game tonight.

I think too many things went wrong for Jimmy to have stayed here, but damn is he fun to root for now that he's off doing his thing elsewhere.

Hachimura is interesting. More of a Gallinari meets Thad Young kind of a ceiling, but with more time and shooting development, he could be a pretty awesome tweener.

In a re-do, I’d go Clarke or Rui over Coby.

Coby has good potential (with a long way to go), but his fit is horrible, and the possibility of him being a career 6th man makes it worse.

harden 4/20 from 3, 19/23 from the line, 10 boards, 10 assists, 8 TO, 2 steals, 3 blocks

probably the first stat line of its kind in nba history

Wow!! Jimmy is damn entertaining. He is an alpha of alphas. I still can't believe the Bulls were stupid enough to trade him for some nonsense rebuilding program.

I saw the clip of the Warren/Butler argument, and I'm still not sure what the hell Jimmy is arguing about. Warren didn't even do anything to him before he got up in his face. I didn't watch the game, so I don't know if there was anything that lead up to that moment, but his response to what happened seems like a crazy, way over-the-top reaction.

Also, I find it funny he said this while only scoring 14 points... Jimmy Butler loves himself some Jimmy Butler.

Imagine how bad he would be if the referees just stopped sending him to the line every game.

It must really suck to be his teammate.

Jimmy sure does love him some Jimmy. But since he got his 14 points on 6 shots and was +28 in 28 minutes, he at least is talking after the right type of performance.

Yeah same here. TJ didn't take him to the ground so it's not like we can even say it was a no layup foul. He just grabbed him and stopped him from taking the open lane. He didn't even really stop him as a more determined player in that moment probably breaks free of Warren's hold (which Jimmy did) and finishes the basket. Jimmy broke Warren's hold and was ready to swing on him (fist was clinched and arm was cocked...amazing he didn't throw it). Had be some other stuff that led up to that.

It was a pretty dangerous play to hold an arm from behind, think back to Olynyk/Love a ways back. You're right, though, I expect there was some previous jawing before that as well.

Wasnt Olynyk/Love injury a tussle over a rebound out of a free throw line up? Honest question, dont remember.

EDIT: found a gif. Dont think the plays are comparable at all. Olynyk had love up by the shoulder, not down by the wrist/forearm.

Injury is apart of the game. Not sure I think warren's play was dangerous.

If there's no actual drama, Jimmy will manufacture some. Fred drove him crazy with that, because Fred never lost his cool, and after a while Jimmy gets bored when nobody is yelling. I guess Spo has been quiet recently.

At any rate, I don't take Butler's outbursts seriously. They're a version of performance art.

Spo actually called out the team as mediocre on the road just before the game. Fueled the crew and motivated them in blowing out Indy in 3 quarters. Starters sat the 4th quarter. Jimmy and the team were hyped for this one.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

How can you not love Jimmy Butler? I can't believe this organization screwed it up so badly with him in his prime.

To this day, it was a colossal mistake. He was the first healthy all star(other than the 3 years of Rose)after Pippen/MJ and they couldn't wait to trade him because of all controllable issues.
