Georgia is down to 3k. Biden only needs 57%. Georgia will likely flip in the next couple hours.

I hope Trump loses PA, GA, AZ, and NV. I want this as much of a blowout as it can be.

That Trump speech was an utter embarrassment. A travesty. Pathetic.

Nothing less than the poisonous tantrum we got. Felt that way for years. Just wanted those that need to accept that to hear it.

Objectively, the electoral college is an embarrassing remnant from 250 years ago, barely more appropriate for modern times than Black people counting for 3/5ths of representation. But it sure does add artificial drama to the proceedings.

Have to give a hearty laugh at the posters who just had to preface all their posts pointing out that both candidates were terrible.

This was an all-time easy choice. And that speech pretty clearly showed why.

Nah. It's "both sides" garbage.

Biden is milquetoast as hell. Dem Party has issues, but running Biden for President is quite low on that list.

Trump is crazy. I cannot believe that I actually supported him previously. Never in my wildest dreams he would become like this.

I'm generally a democrat, but I would have probably voted against Biden in most elections. Trump is a sociopath though. I mean literally, he is a sociopath. He just lies about everything he doesn't like. Invents whatever story he has. As I said earlier, he's like a villain written into a children's book that keeps getting away with everything. This isn't typical "both sides are bad" situation here.

Yeah, but is he picking up that % in recent counts? I heard Fulton Co. was all in.

Yeah, Biden is going to win the popular vote by around 4 million votes. This could be the 3rd time in the past 6 elections that they lose while winning the popular vote. I'm tired of knowing that my vote in CA is meaningless in the presidential race.

I think the expectation was Biden would get a good lead in all remaining counties, because even in the republican heavy counties, the mail in ballets were still skewing democratic. I think we're down to like 17k votes left to count too, so obviously not a lock one way or the other.

Doing a quick scan of the county map on CNN, there were 5-6 counties left that weren't at 99% and all but one were blue.

A lot of it is all about the people he puts around him, and how well he uses those people. I think Biden will realize his limits, appoint competent people to the cabinet, and just take the lead where it's needed. By the way, McConnell is already saying the senate will block any of his cabinet nominations that are too "radical". I guess it's fine for Trump to appoint a pretty radical justice to a lifetime appointment though. Or pick someone like Scott Atlas to Covid task force.

I’m not super into politics but any reason in particular you’re so strongly against Biden? I voted just to get Trump out but Joe seems pretty mild mannered/moderate in my book but I’m not the most educated on him.

Mitch may be getting a little ahead of himself. Georgia may have both of its Senate seats go to a runoff.
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

He's 14 years past retirement age. I literally think every single person without exception that I speak with in my life on a regular basis is sharper at this point in their life than Joe Biden. This is the fricken Presidency we're talking about here. Biden isn't going to run a damn thing, people around him will run it, so I don't even know whom I'm really voting for if I vote for Biden? I can't imagine he's going to be a strong leader in any type of negotiations or foreign policy, he's completely uninspiring. He's better than a lying sociopath with nuclear codes, but that's about it.

You'd literally have to ask yourself if you think Biden would even be alive to complete 2 terms or die of old age first if he ran for re-election after winning.

Biden's lead in AZ is down to 57k votes now. It's trending like Trump will come back from behind to take AZ.

All depends on where the remaining votes come from. 57K votes is still a lot to make up.
