Did the coaching staff start screwing around with Tyrus' minutes and he started playing worse, or was he playing badly so they limited his minutes? I'll argue it's the first, and that's what pisses me off as a fan.
If you go back to the start of the year Tyrus lost his starting job because of Wallace, Kirk, BG and Deng, not because of how he was playing. Skiles even admitted as much. It's been downhill from there.

Yes, lets compare Gordons situation to Tyrus Thomas.
I once was looking for an emoticon to use to add emphasis to my disagreeing with a point. I glanced at the eye rolling one, but figured I wouldn't use that one, because that would have been (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Yeah, this "Tyrus played bad" stuff is ludicrous. It's not that he played well and not that he played badly; he played 3 minutes. Badness is not a reason for his not playing until the very end.
The reason in this case was that Noah was playing very well, Smith played great, and Noc came on strong in the 4th quarter. If Noah gets a lot of PT and Tyrus doesn't in a given game, I'm not all that upset. I would like to see both of them get it, but Noah was a better matchup tonight. I'm proud of him.

So fine, you win. Tyrus played great. Play him 40 minutes a game. He's a franchise player. 20/10. Untouchable. Build the team around him.
So is this how you deal with everything - get angry stomp your foot and pout off?
No one called him 20/10. We wanted to know in a 20 point blow off why TT and the rest of the reserves were still sitting on their ass.

Don't worry about Red. I think he's just doing what treis made him promise to do when he left. Treis lives on.

No, I just stop while I'm ahead, because I can't win in a Tyrus argument. There's a 100 foot shield covering him on this board.

I once debated with another poster about the value of a player. I considered mocking the poster by saying "oh yeah sure he's a HOF player you're right." But since the poster never claimed the player was a HOF, it would have been (Please Use More Appropriate Word) of me to say that.

It's always black and white to you, and you love the reductio ad absurdum argument-- except that you don't know how to use it.
Nobody said anything about greatness or 40mpg. They wanted more than 3 minutes in a blowout. So simple that it can only be grasped by...well... almost all minds.

You can't win in a Tyrus argument because your arguments aren't very good.
You've already made up your mind about him, and every posts reflects that, irrespective of his performance.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."
