I just was absolutely floored that Shittu was getting minutes over Baxter. Baxter was the most intriguing player on the roster at a position of long term need and he couldn't even get burn

Baxter is one of those players you are just waiting to come out of nowhere with a highlight. But that being said, just watching him, he looked to get lost on the floor a lot. To me it was almost like watching a kid playing at the park not knowing where to go and where to be. He seems to have low basketball IQ and gets by with his athleticism. And at 25 years old he should probably be further along than he is. I was hoping to see a more polished player that was a diamond in the rough .

Totally agree. I think the fact that we haven't announced either Shittu or Baxter getting a 2-way suggests to me that the FO is looking outside our SL roster, which is fine by me.

Looks like Bey signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Rockets. I thought he might have been a candidate for a 2-way spot with us, but no one from our summer league looked all that intriguing. Funny enough, our former 2-way player Max Strus had some impressive moments for Miami last year and got a contract to be on their team. It wouldn't shock me if he proves to be a hidden gem. He really seemed like he had game.

In the end, I doubt it will matter all that much. Since two-way contracts were introduced prior to the 2017-18 season, Archi has been the best of the bunch by far and that's really not saying much. Hopefully AKME are more diligent when it comes to scouting two-way guys, but considering they kept Mokoka around last year who showed nothing in the G League or the NBA might indicate they don't really care about it either.
