I would waive Marko and try to go after Will Barton. If not then Melo would be my next target.

This. Having one of those guys backup DeRozan or Williams would be huge. Marko isn't playing and likely isn't in our future plans. Makes more sense if we're trying to make a playoff run to get 3-point shooting which we desperately need.

Marko has another year on his deal FYI.

I don't know why more teams aren't after Barton. He makes good impact plays whenever he's on the court. I think he could've helped a team like the Clippers. If I'm him, I'd go to GSW, Boston or Miami. I think he could make great impacts there. To a lesser degree, Milwaukee or Philly.

He seemed completely cooked for the Wiz.

Not really. Next year is non-guaranteed.

I would give Will Barton a look if the Bulls weren't so overloaded with guards, if they weren't playing 4 guards with Vuc or Drummond now even with DeRozan on the bench.

It doesn't appear that there are any PFs floating around out there or any even potentially mentioned to be bought out who would be interested in 20 games with the Bulls.

They waived Bradley to add PatBev and they don't seem willing to pry Marko off the bench until a lead exceeds 40 points. So it's small ball or bust, this has got to be solved when the roster get redone.

Man, I'd love to nab Noel and free Dragic to go to DAL. He's brittle, but if we can get a read on him to see if he's a good get for next year, I'd be happy.

If I were him, I would go to an actual contender. Plus, with Drummond, not sure that the Bulls have minutes for him. And if DJJ is coming back, he covers the “emergency” C role (at a size Billy prefers!).

I think we are thinner at the 4 / forward (really, wing/forward, given commitment to small ball) where Derozan now starts at the 4, Pat (and then DJJ) in reserve. If DJJ not near 100%, would want to add there. Lance Stephenson, anyone

Whatever happened with Will Barton? I thought he was waived but haven't heard anything since.

He's not the most efficient player (doesn't go to the line, about half his shots are 3s), but he's still a 38% shooter who'd be 3rd on this team in terms of volume 3s P36 behind Zach and Coby. 6'6, can pitch in rebounding and assist-wise, and is a decent defender.

Bev / Caruso / Zach / DeMar / Vooch
Ayo / Coby / Barton / Pat / Drummond

A bit of a jack of all trades type of player who spent most of his time in Denver, you'd think AK would be all over it.

With Dragic gone (he really fizzled after a hot start), who's out there for us?

Barton
Noel
James Johnson
Who else?

It wouldn't surprise me if the Bulls don't fill the empty roster spot. It be more of the same from the GarPax era.

Stanley Johnson wouldn't be a bad add. He was playing well, is somewhat familiar with this group, and gives us another defender to throw out on the Tatums and Giannis' of the world.

Not a good sign when you get waived by the Spurs, but Isaiah Roby is now available.

I would take Roby if for no other reason he's fairly tall at 6-8

What makes less sense on its' own is converting Carlick Jones to a regular contract from a 2 way. They just got a veteran guard that is supposed to make a difference, they waived Dragic so they have the same number of guards but let Tony Bradley go so in the event of injury they pretend DJJ is a center. This in addition to Terry Taylor being on the bench

Now let's say they bring in Roby just who do they release, if they need to, to make room for him?
