Yep.

PW should have gotten the Okoro deal 3/33.

5/90 with a player option is crazy.

What do you mean? That's a great deal. It's easily movable. It'll look like peanuts in a few years.

In a few years maybe, but no one wants him here for a few years.

Everyone wants him, he's only 23 and is constantly improving all whilst being on a bargain contract.

21 per is what im hoping he has no leverage. 25 is the bottom line meet in the middle at 23.5 lets wait him out as long as possible

I don't see any possible way Giddey signs for under 25m per. It would be nice, but it also won't happen, IMO.

He was only good the 2nd half of the year. So Imo not out of the realm of possibility. We’d just have to be firm but 25 will prb be the amount he accepts

Don't get me wrong. 25m per would be awesome. But the market seems to say otherwise.

I also get that he was very good in just the second half, but is that because he was finally given free reign rather than having to play within the pecking order? I'm hoping it's the former, but that play and their record during that time is what Giddeys camp will be using as somewhat leverage I'd imagine.

My guess is if the deal is 25m per or under he signs a shorter term deal (3yrs and possibly with a PO).

Looks like market value for Giddey would be 20-25M.

I think he goes 3/70 to bet on himself.

This franchise is going to stay irrelevant for a long time. It's sad because we have such a dedicated fanbase.

This is true but only with bolded. This is not Reinsdorf's fault. Everybody would do what Reinsdorf does also if they had fanbase like ours. Easy money won on sheeps. No need to improve.

Honest question, if a team were interested in Giddey without cap space couldn't they facilitate a sign and trade? If so, it is telling that nobody is interested what so ever.

Sign and trades for players in RFA don't usually make much sense.

From Chicago's perspective, if Giddey accepts a contract that would allow for Chicago to get any sort of positive value in return, it is a signal to Chicago that they should keep him at that price.

From another teams perspective they would have to pay Giddey enough to stop Chicago matching (indicating a bad deal) and additionally give the Bulls something they want in return.

If the team with the RFA (the Bulls in this case) is willing to sign and trade with you, it is a HUGE red flag.
