Since then, he tore his shoulder, his coach got fired and now he plays in an offense that he does not like.

He is clearly sulking right now and his image is taking on even more damage.

You would think logically the Grizz should just tear it all down and start over. To me trading Bane already started it. Just finish it off by trading Ja.

Yes Ja could just play the company line and bite his tongue. But I just highly doubt he has people in his corner to give him the proper advice. I dont think the question is "If" but rather "When" he does have moved.

He had good people around him as for as his agency.

His previous agent had Grant Hill and Tim Duncan as clients if that idiot found a way to f**** that up good luck with any other agency.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

As New Orleans shows, which fans tend to think that teams are terrible on purpose, for draft reasons, they're usually terrible (particularly early in the season) because they just suck. Management hoped for better but some team had to be the worst team, and they happened to be it.

Same with Brooklyn last decade, when Boston had its draft picks but Brooklyn was awful anyway.

It’s both. At minimum the Nets and Suns this year are pretty clearly intending to be terrible on purpose, wisely.

This also applies to the Charlotte Hornets of the last however many years.

What Dumars did is just historically inexplicable.

This is why everyone was so pissed we didn't take their offer for their unprotected pick.

It's no surprise that New Orleans is bad. They're relying on two rookies to be important rotation players.

Honestly the Pelicans are just in a bad spot.

Only 2 years ago they won 49 games. Zion was the heathiest he has been playing 70 games. Brandan Ingram was doing well. The team was on the up and up.

But last year they traded for Dejuante then misses most of the season. Ingram misses the whole season. Zion only plays 20 games. They go straight to lottery. But then in the offseason they pivot from CJ for Poole and went all in by trading their lottery pick this year for Queen.

Its not really a terrible set of moves. Its just all of them backfired. They actually have good young talent on the team but they are playing in the West.

But if things dont turn around soon, I am sure Willie Green will have to dust off his resume.

Don't hire former guards from the Pistons as a GM!

At any rate, I am old enough to remember when the Pels were the leagues darlings. They had Zion, Ingram, Lonzo, Jrue, and Josh Hart.

I dunno… they just kept getting injured. Too bad they didn’t have Pau and Odom instead.

They must lead the league in unintentional lucky breaks and epic trade blunders. Like, for every disastrous move, a franchise player falls into their lap, and then they follow up with another disastrous move. Kind of like the Kings, except they didn’t even give Luka a chance.

Granted, Zion and Davis were both very injury prone (and Jrue during his time there), but still… just seems like every time they catch the break, they offset it with something risky. Kind of like the AK Bulls too, unfortunately.

Sucks for Harper.

I think the calf strain has now morphed into a new major injury on its own. I think the worry of a potential Achilles Tear has now made the prognosis from maybe a two week or so off to now months potentially.

Even in Coby's case he has actually been out 2-3 months.

It makes his draft day trade even worse. You don't take over a team with a history like that and trade an unprotrotected pick for the #13 pick. It's the kind of move that can set a franchise back for a bit.

I haven't watched him play, but Asa Newell seems to be doing well so far (only 3 games).

It's a shame that AK passed on the deal. It might look bad over time. Hopefully Noa proves me wrong.

So as of now we have roughly the 5th best all-around offense (half court + transition) in the league, if I'm reading that correctly.

With last season's leader in transition scoring still waiting in the wings..
