I think Blatt is going to run close to Spurs type offense with lots of screens for Kyrie Irving. Miami had an amazing offense during the regualar season but during the playoffs specially against Spurs they couldnt score enough. Wade is not the playmaker he used to be that burdened Lebron a lot because he was the only one running offense. But Kyrie can kill any team with pick n roll, pick n pop. He is good penetrator and scorer, so its not like he is just a spot shooter. And on top of that if you put Lebron and Love, thats going to be easy offense for the whole team.

Maybe so, but he has the ability to be a good defender. I wouldn't count on Irving being a terrible defender forever. With LeBron on board and a new coaching staff, there are incentives to play defense and consequences for not doing so.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

Chicago Bulls Rumors @chicagobullsbot · 3h

Chicago Bulls Pau Gasol averages 19.7 PPG, 59% FG when playing against Kevin Love. Love averages 16.3 PPG, 42% FG when playing against Gasol

and as I was posting there are the numbers from Pau.. Wow.

It's funny because after looking at the numbers Pau has done better against us than love has the past 4 years. I wonder how Love's stat line looks when being guarded by Jo and Taj.

It's not good. 18 PPG on poor efficiency

I don't think it's good to assume Cavs are going to be as horrible in defense as you make them. This is going to be their first season with this squad with a new coach at that. We don't know what they are actually capable of on D. Who knows maybe this coach is just as much of a defensive genius as thibs. Well I actually have not read anything about david blatt so I really don't know.

I agree.

With that said, what is the least you would trade Rose for?

I want to see Team USA before I answer that question - or would trade him.

Right now.. sight unseen, maybe somewhere around Lillard would be tempting though.

Why? Rose embarrassed that no-defense playing, 3point chucker when he was horribly rusty.

Yes, because Kevin Love is better than Joakim Noah, and not everyone is emotionally attached to players.

Love is highly overrated on this forum.most of you are just THIRTSY to land a SUPERSTAR that y'all would have no problem gutting this team and trading the player that holds this team together for that one superstar LOL

Love really got the Wolves far though over his time with them....blah blah blah he didn't have help

Gutting the team? We're talking Noah for Kevin Love right?

Regardless of where he's playing basketball, the stats suggest that he is indeed a top 10 player in the NBA.

With that said, I could care less...

I want the other deal

Love is not one trick pony who can shoot and rebound only. He's got great BBIQ with amazing passing abilities to boot and he scores within the flow of the offense.

I'm okay with not doing the trade, but I don't think people realize how disgustingly good a lineup of LeBron, Love, and Irving will be. That is a juggernaut we're gonna have to go through. Can we do it? Possibly. But it's going to be an all-out war, and we need some things to break in our favor (Rose being in MVP form, health, rapid development from Dougie, Snell, and Mirotic).

Make no mistake about it.

So why didn't he take the wolves anywhere
