Nah.
Green could go #1. Watch him rise.

no he couldn't. Unless some GM is interested in early (forced) retirement.

If he quits when things are tough or isn’t getting what he wants how is he going to deal with a losing team or culture? Is he going to give up on his team and try and force a trade? I see his draft stock slipping which will cost him millions of dollars so doing what he thinks is right can be completely different than doing what’s best for him.

he wont touch lotto but Bulls would be stupid to not draft him low like taking flier with Nunn.
Bulls need to pay attention to chicago products.

You might be correct. This isn't a hill I'm willing to die on. Still, I think the "quit on his team" angle is off base- though I can see how some old school types will frame it that way. College basketball is a business. When it's not advantageous for either side to continue the relationship- it ends. He did the calculus that it was in his best interest to leave. Would he quit on a team that he had a contractual obligation to? I don't know. But if his potential is judged sufficient- NBA GM's will roll the dice.

He is new Dray Green. Way better defender, two way player than White and Carter.TheSuzerain wrote:Kukoc-Lauri wrote:Best case scenerio for Bulls. Barnes is mediocre. Can't shoot at all. Hard pass.

You cannot get frp for White or Carter they are below average Nba players. Barnes is two way wing with playmaking potential and all defensive team upside. If he is really bad in Nba he is James Johnson. I see Siakam/Green/Og type of player in his prime. You never know for sure but i am buying Barnes stock.TheSuzerain wrote:Kukoc-Lauri wrote:He is new Dray Green. You'd get laughed off the phone if you tried to trade White or WCJ for a top 10 pick.
If you like Scottie Barnes, just sign James Johnson for cheap in Free Agency. Same player.
