With Pat out and Craig gimpy, at least bring in a PF.
This.
If you're going to pick a direction then pick a direction and commit to it. We're fence-sitting.
Even fans who don't want to see a rebuild/retool should be looking for trades to improve the team right now since our goal is to move up the Eastern Conference standings and make a playoff push.
We could use a PF, another shooter, a rim protector, etc. There's plenty of areas to shore up if we're serious about making a run, but we just sit around and do nothing.

The Bulls are not a young team. They are a veteran team. They are the 10th oldest team in the NBA. 20 teams are younger.
My goodness.
I literally said if Debo (34) and Drummond (30) leave. Two of the other older players, Craig and Carter, were minor free agency adds, one is 33. Meanwhile, we have Ball, White, Ayo, Phillips, Sanogo, Bitum, Williams, Drell, Terry. There are 3 players on this team older than 30. So if Debo and Drummond leave, we'll be a very young team. And EVERYBODY"S arguing to get rid of Vucevic, the other oldest player, lol. He'd be the only player left older than 30 besides Craig.
NBA players hit their prime around 26-27, we'll be younger than that.
Got it. I misread.
They still wouldn't be super young without those guys given Vooch and Zach, but they'd obviously be younger.
Wondering where you're getting your info from? Not calling it wrong, but the numbers I'm seeing (Bing AI) put the Bulls at 25.7 this year and doesn't have them at 10th oldest even with those guys. Average age is probably not a good measure anyway. How many young vs old players do we have? Like I said, without those two guys, we only have two guys over 30. The vast majority of the team is 26 or younger, meaning they haven't even hit their prime. We have 7 guys that are 24 or younger, half the team.

What trades would you have done so far?

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Sounds about right. Vuc got $60M, and everyone would have to agree Demar is much better than Vuc.
Plus if you're going to dump Lavine for spare parts, Demar is more or less critical to maintaining the play-in status.

How should I know? I'm not on the phones with GMs. I don't know what's being offered and I don't know what AKME is thinking or how they value their players vs other team's players.
Are you suggesting there are no trades available that would make the Bulls better? If so, how do you know? What trades would you have turned down?

Well Paxson didn't make any deadline moves either. At least not to make us better.
What I can say is he is willing to move a player when he isnt going to resign him for the money he wants. I would say he would have 100% traded Zach before his max contract though.

It’s impossible to play this game without knowing what’s actually available, but the Bulls are headed for the third straight trade deadline without a trade. Think about that for a sec. For three straight years, our front office has concluded that no one on the trade market is good enough for a player on our roster.
Adding Thompson and Beverly off the buyout market isn’t good enough.

Are other teams not trading at the trading deadline?
