Why should we pick Melo having White for the point? People are giving up on him with just one season?

Pretend that you're the Portland Trailblazers.

- You have Clyde Drexler. You pass on Michael Jordan.
- Kevin Durant is available. You pass on him.

Pretend that you're the Seattle Sonics.

- You had Scottie Pippen, but traded him away for Oden Polynice.

Pretend that we're us. The Chicago Bulls.

- Brandon Clarke was available; a 20.9 PER and 5 Win shares rookie. We passed on him for Coby White; an 11.9 PER and 0.9 Win shares rookie instead.

Yeah but you were on the right side getting MJ and Pippen and now you( we) are on the wrong side passing better players . Can't win forever.
That said,I believe that Coby can be a useful asset with a better coach.It's an open draft from #4 , anything can happen.

I wanted Brandon Clarke BEFORE the draft. I'm on record posting about this numerous times. Check with the mods. They know. I raved about Clarke and posted his super high advanced metrics.

Clarke was number 2 on my list (Jarrett Culver number 1) from our number 7 draft position. Coby White was on my list, too, but he was dead last.

For the record, I want LaMelo here. And we actually have a chance to get him.

I think the two biggest needs for the roster has to be an athletic big with legit size for the position, and a point forward type of prospect. Wiseman will more than likely be gone by the fourth pick, so Deni Avdija probably make the most sense for this Bulls team. Ideally, Avdija can develop into a player who will run offense while Lavine and White attacks on the wings.

I do have some fear about Markkanen's development with Lavine, White, and Avdija on the perimeter. Lauri will probably be lost and then outta here.

What do you guys view Coby White as? PG or SG?

Coby is not going to be a factor if AK wants best talent like Ball.
He is a combo guard and probably his like a Lou Williams type 6th man yr. Hes just not a full time pg like Luka.
My dream is get Ball at 4, trade overpaid Lavine, and move super scorer White to the 2 spot where he can develop as 2nd playmaker.
im not high on him but thats the best i can do to him. not going to give him full power to control Lauri with 30 usg. no way.

KC reported thta AK and EVS were very high on Coby.

Everybody is high on Coby except RealGM Bulls. Ask other teams fans and everybody loves Coby. This board is funny. This board has a fetish for low impact players like Sato who don’t make anything happen who played scared and hate players that play aggressive impact ball.

Dude White was 7th and picked relatively high. Ball is a consensus top 3 pick has superstar potential. I dont care if White gets dumped if Ball develops. all in on him.

I’ll be honest, I’ve been estranged from the Bulls waiting for GarPax to go, so I didn’t watch White. I thought the takeaway from S1 was generally positive and that he had Star upside. But I don’t know White’s style. If the Bulls took Ball, can White mix and match at PG and SG? He should be able to get starter quality minutes as a 6th man. Basically you don’t need to trade White if you take Ball.

Anyways, for the Bulls I think you shoot for the stars. You take the player with the most superstar potential that is available. The Bulls are in a position where they can roll the dice a bit IMO. They don’t need a safe high floor guy. If that guy is Ball, let’s do it

I honestly think 1 of Edwards, Ball or Wiseman will be available. There is not consensus too guys. One of the teams ahead of the Bulls will fall in love with a player most people have a bit lower and the Bulls will have the one that falls.

I’m assuming Ball, Edwards, Wiseman will be gone. The next best picks for the bulls would be Dany Adjiva and Toppin. Those are the 2 most talented after the top 3 are gone. Haliburton fits this board fetish as a low mistake, low aggressive player, that won’t help you or hurt you on the court. That being said he would be a better choice to play then Satos bum ass.

Yes. But what im saying is White doesnt move the needle. Fans here are hyping him too much when he isnt a star.
Lou Williams. Great. idc bc honestly its a waste of time developing him but i guess the Bulls are too short on talent they can start him if they move Lavine.

Basically what I want is a full roster from 1-15 that has star potential. I dont want scrubs like Arci, Dunn.
And you could easily get those from MPJ to Bol who cost next to nothing.
