Matas out there playing hard and intent on proving he belongs. Gotta love this kid.

I'm excited by his potential, just hope like hell he reaches it in Chicago.

Missed the dunk contest.

Did Matas pull out his bounce under his leg and catch dunk?

I saw he didn't advance :(

Not gonna lie I had Birdman flashbacks with the 1st dunk. 2nd dunk was real nice but just didn't have a clean and strong finish.

First time it seemed to me like the kid was really nervous. Still love ya Buz.

I saw one of his dunks (maybe it's the only one he got) where he caught it off the side of the backboard and reverse slammed it on the other side of the rim.

Glad he still got to represent the Bulls.

Just watched the start of the dunk contest (the whole thing is on YouTube) and Matas did infact attempt the dunk I mentioned but he tried to add extra flair to it by coming from out behind the backboard.

He failed it though.

Ah well, maybe next year.

Nice to see that Matas would go higher in a re-draft, but I'm not surprised. Although it's an odd list. Why would Miami pass on Ware for Justin Edwards? That doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah, Ware dropping instead of either staying put or rising is very peculiar.

Well at least Matas made his dunk. IMO, big guys are at a disadvantage due to their lack of hangtime. At least he lost to an ex-Bull.

That was brutal, he missed his first dunk 5 times.

No way he was beating McClung though, just looks cooler when a 6' 0" guy does even easier dunks. Wife was watching with me and even as a non-NBA fan she said it didn't look that impressive when Matas dunked even though she could see it was probably difficult (the side of the backboard bounce & reverse).

No doubt. But it also looks especially impressive when the 6 foot guy continuously comes up with the most physically impressive, creative and meticulously executed dunks of all time.

McLung transcends the competition really. He’s a performance artist at this point. He’s so good he made Blake Griffin look lame.

McClungs dunks were all push off dunks. Kinda stupid how everyone just ignores that, like they did to Aaron Gordon in the Lavine contest. I guess as long as it looks cool it doesn't matter if you are pushing off to get extra height and hangtime?

I thought Castle should have won for doing legit dunks.

I don’t get it. What did he push off of?
