No thanks on KJ.
Jase Richardson and/or Fears seem better prospects.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Prospects
I'm nervous about Fears's low 3P% but I guess one can hope that his 84% FT% is a sign that he'll improve with 3s as he gets older.

Too bad we don't have a 2nd anymore. I like Kalkbrenner from Creighton as a backup C. Great size, shot blocker, mature rookie.

The Bulls have Sactos 2025 second.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy.

Riley is cooking!
I think by the time the draft roles around he will sneak into top 10.

I don’t see it yet. He’s been coming on strong though and he dominated against Minny. I’m just not sure I see how much of his offense will translate. The shot will translate and with his height and release he will be able to get it off. Nice open court guy, projects to be a nice offensive off ball role player. But so far I have not seen the type of iso game that will work against NBA defenders.
Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

Fully agree. He’s not quick enough to get around nba players but he could learn to bump as he gets stronger. NBA spacing and with it closeouts down hill will help him. I think he will be able to create 3s off the bounce with his length and stepback and side packages.
He is high iQ on both ends. He’d be fun with Buz and Zo. Can really pass.

I thought we lost that in the AKME card shuffle.

Nah they traded back the Kings 2028 SRP.

Hard pass on the Dukies (outside of Flagg of course).
Maluach just looks slow and stiff as hell, and that’s in highlights…don’t even wanna see plays where he looks bad.
Kneuppel looks like your stereotypical fundamental shooter w/o the physical attributes to make a big impact in the league.
Both seem like wasting a lottery pick on an obvious role/meh player where they could just sign a guy of similar ilk for dirt cheap. I’d rather take a higher upside guy and miss than waste a pick on either of those guys.
Reinsdorf & Co. - sell the team!!

Maluach just isn’t putting up the rebound or block stats. I know Cooper grabs alot of boards and maybe teams are staying away from the rim when he’s in but it doesn’t feel like that’s the full story when watching games.

Agreed he has almost no chance of being a #1 on a contending team. Best case a Capela type sure but the Bulls need a #1 for the future.
Very likely to be another Bamba, who was much more impressive. Most mocks don't even have him top 10.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Prospects
Khaman Maluach probably should've went to a school that would feature him, and give him the touches for his development. Duke is the Cooper Flagg show. That being said, if the Bulls pick 7-10 and Maluach is on the board, AK has to take him. Most of the prospects in that range will have red flags. Khaman Maluach could be too good to pass on. Giddey could use a big target like Maluach, and the Bulls could definitely use his potential rim protection.

His rebounding is pretty standard on a per 36 basis and he's averaging 3.2 blocks per 100 possessions. The problem is that he's only averaging 20 minutes/game, which might raise conditioning red flags.
A few things working in his favor:
- He is 7'2" with a 7'5" wingspan.
- He doesn't turn 19 until September.
- He is shooting 77% on FT.
- He just started playing basketball 4-5 years ago.

That can all be true but we still need to answer the question, who is going to start at center? Alex Len?

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Prospects
he's got some upside but standard rebounding and 3 blocks per 100 is garbage production for that archetype and those measurements.moorhosj wrote:Chi town wrote:Maluach just isn’t putting up the rebound or block stats.
