I am 80% sure that Lebron has a player option that same goes with Wade, Bosh, and Amare. But I am not sure it is too late for him to exercise I do not think it is but we see.

"They like their basketball here and the way I play," James said that night. "Going back to 1984 when Jordan was doing what he was doing, they've seen greatness. For them to respect the way I play the game, I respect that."

Lopez, Harris, Lee, T. Williams and a top pick?

Add Bron that and I'm quite positive they won't stink...now New Jersey on the other hand....

People are aware that nucleus lost 70 games, right?

I understand they can improve very quickly with LeBron and a top pick, but Jesus Christ. I mean, 70 games?! A lot of conjecture in terms of predicting their basketball future.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

Yeah, the same exact players that won a monstrous 12 games! Lebron going there makes no basketball sense. That's not a championship team.

I think the key with the Nets situation is what pick they're able to get in the upcoming lottery. They win the lotto, get Wall, and all of a sudden at worst you are looking at Wall and Lopez, which isn't bad at all. Add to that the tradable contract of Harris, and you have the ability to sign LeeBron and someone else. The Nets are a real contender for him.

Like it or not, I think this lottery will be a huge factor in where LeBron will possibly go.

Charles Oakley thinks he's going to either Chicago or Miami.

Interesting, but who knows if he has connections or this is just speculation.

That's why I think he'll land with the Bulls if he leaves the Cavaliers. The Bulls have more talent in place than the New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets or any other team with cap room this summer.

With a talented young core of Derrick Rose (21), Joakim Noah (25), Luol Deng (25) and other role players, the addition of James could make the Bulls contenders for the next half-dozen years.

KC Johnson owns John Jackson. It's kind of embarasing really. JJ needs to step it up.

And Woj owns em both.

That's the honest truth. Our beat writers are absolutely dreadful and the one time they have a story worth anything, KC decides to sit on it.

It's embarrassing, really, especially in a city like Chicago we deserve better.

Just for the record.

Even though we're seing very hot rumours about LeBron joining our gang, it's extremely important for everyone to understand he may not. There is still the possibility that he goes somewhere else, and leaves us with someone else.

Having said that, this hype can only be good for business. If LeBron actually gave us a strong look, it would undoubtedly raise the attention of Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. All in all, I actually feel our chances of getting one of those three look fairly good.

But again. Let's not order new jerseys quite yet. We could still end up with *gulp* Joe Johnson or something like that.

*Throws cold water down everyone's pants - Especially Magilla's seing as he's hearing rumours about both LeBron and Asik coming over*

Obviously, I'd be just as upset as you guys if we closed out the summer with a signing of Joe Johnson. I too hope, obviously, LeBron James comes here. I'm just saying it's important not to buy into the hype too much.

Hell, some posters even think it's a lock that he comes here. I find that premature, even though I hope they're right. It's going to be a long summer and July is 1½ months away. In 1½ months, rumours can spread like a California forrest fire.

Sorry for being Debby Downer. Not my intention. I'd just hate to see this board go into depression mode if LeBron chose another destination.

If Lebron is leaving the Cavs, I give the Bulls a 65%, Knicks a 30%, and the Nets a 5% chance.

I am 100% sure that Lebron would not consider the Heat, due to the presence of Wade.
