The standing reach measurements seem kind of messed up this year honestly

Is it me or are there some really interesting 2nd round prospects in this draft?

Those are Pippen/Kawhi-esque measurements.

Very interesting.

Reinsdorf has never bought a 2nd ever so I have given up on him directly buying a 2nd to benefit this team. Also I think if we buy a 2nd it is forfeited automatically as well.

They might view Vuc as a suitable mentor for Sengun.

But they aren't going to part with their high pick, or Green for that matter.

Now, would they consider a Christian Wood plus salary (maybe Dennis Schroeder S&T) for Vuc trade?

Or even possibly a Wood + Eric Gordon for Vuc + 18 + salary (DJJ or Troy Brown Jr or even Coby, but then probably sans the 18). or even without the extra salary (to shed salary for them and avoid excess costs ) trade? They very well might.

Actually, that latter trade would make a lot of sense for the Bulls - especially if the Bulls could do Vuc+Coby+Bradley to Houston for Wood + Gordon, but likely with Coby being re-routed to a 3rd team in exchange for a later first round pick to Houston (I could see Denver, Brooklyn, Dallas, or the Bucks being interested - sending salary back along with their pick's in the 20s... or TO with pick 33 or their 1st in 2023, but lotto protected).

I'm doubting that we go for Wood.

Bulls aren't going anywhere as presently constructed. They have to gamble a bit. Wood is just that type of gamble. Character questions -- but Bulls environment would be much better than anything he's been in. Meanwhile, he's a significantly better shooter than Vuc is (last 3 seasons average over 38%, with relatively low variance - although reduced FT% the last two). 10.1 rb per game in 31 minutes. Even a bit more rim protection than Vuc (though not much)... but at 26, less likely to fall of a cliff...

The character questions make him potentially "buy low".

His character questions are pretty legit. Not the first team he has had them with and he was available last year and no one bit. The Bulls don’t have a “real” leader either to keep him in line. I don’t think he is the answer or gamble to take.

Is it forfeited? I thought next years was set in stone. Maybe not don’t know those rules. As far as not buying a second that was a different Reinsdorf. They are doing a lot to change optics one way or the other. It is actually a pretty sneaky move to do that, low salary to fill out the roster and it looks like they are spending.

Not if we buy it after the pick (i.e. make a deal with a team to pick a certain player and make the swap after the pick is made).

We shall see this offseason when the opportunity to spend serious money to improve this team is presented.

I'm really hoping that AKME either finds a way to rid us of Marko via buyout or as salary filler in a trade. Maybe his stellar g-league play will interest a team.

Mark Williams is growing on me more and more. The problem is that I don't expect him to be available at 18th. He measured at 7'2 with shoes, 9'9 standing reach, and 7'6 wingspan. He's already a good defender but with those measurement the sky is the limit defensively. I see a lot of potential in Williams and I believe he could turn out to be a very special player. His peak to me is Rudy Gobert if he reaches his potential.

While I think he looked like a solid hard nosed player at IL and wouldn't mind taking a chance on him being a Charles Oakley, Anthony Mason type power player, there are a dozen kids every year who go into the combine and draft, some free agency, looking to prove the doubters/critics/experts wrong and just don't because many of those doubters/critics/experts actually know what they're talking about because it's their job to not just evaluate talent but accurately predict how it translates to the NBA

He will be long gone by Bulls pick.
He’s going to be a winning player. Big impact.

Jalen Williams is now my “if my guy doesn’t fall” guy.

A 7’2.75” wingspan for a legit ballhandler is absurd.

Idk why I'm late on this guy as I'm always a fan of perimeter defenders with offensive upside, but MarJon Beauchamp is intriguing.

Beauchamp will make an impact on day one as a defender.
