I don't know whether to find this pessimism funny or sad considering MELO has said nothing. For all we know Melo could have talked to Pau to see if he was gonna stay in LA, or go to a different team which can include NY, or CHI, or WHEREVER.

He isn't going around the country recruiting for the knicks. That hyperbole is absolutely stupid to even say.

PAU FREAKING GASOL??????

I will never understand this. Never.

You don't understand making more money

Wouldn't it just be smarter to join Pau and Kobe freaking Bryant in Los Angeles????????????????????

Can't get that super max in LA.

Personally I'd love to see this:

Westbrook-Jackson-Durant-Ibaka-Gasol

vs

Rose-Butler-Melo-Gibson-Noah

If the options are Gasol and Melo to the Knicks or Gasol to the Thunder, give me the latter.

Because there are only a few big fish, three of them decided to play together in Miami.

That's free agency. It's not a reflection on the FO or the team in general.

Ben Wallace was the only worthwhile FA we signed to be honest. And he was an offensive scrub from the get go. Other teams bring in stars and we can't. Why is it we can't convince elite talent to come to Chicago? Probably because GarPax aren't very good recruiters and can't relate to this generations athlete's.

I think someone like Love would be thrilled to come from Minny to a big city/market like Chicago, but Melo's been there and done that.

FO's got alot of things working against them as well.

Here's to hoping for Jabari

This reporters take things out of context or aren't telling us everything. Who are their sources? This could be Melo trying to get leverage on the Bulls. This could be a team leaking BS just for sh*ts and giggles for leverage. Who knows?!

We'll have to wait and see. I'm just not buying any of these reports. I'm waiting for Melo to decide. Everything until then is useless info.

Its exactly as I feared.

Carmelo is an idiot; he's pitching Gasol to take the RMLE. To do what? Barely make the playoffs? In the East to boot?

Gasol must be like "No wonder the East is so pathetic".

Could be a last ditch effort for melo to recruit to NyC. Makes no sense for Pau imo, might as well stay in LA.
Might just be seeing whats Pau's plan....maybe team up in Chi.

Just a guess, who knows? Tryin to be positive

How the hell do they know what Melo is calling Pau about? I think some of these reporters must work for the NSA.

its really dumb isn't it, Lebron must be sitting back and laughing his ass off

Can't believe the pathetic east let Lebron get two rings and still refuses to band together to stop him

Return to Chicago Bulls
