we should honestly consider punting on 2019 cap space to build more assets + aim for 2020/21 free agency instead.

everyone else is jockeying to open up cap space next year. gotta zig while everyone else zags, and i think it fits the timeline of our roster better anyway. be bad in 2018, make an organic push for the playoffs in 2019, hope the stars align in 2020.

Bulls shouldn’t tank next year and I don’t think they will, East is too bad so it’s best to develop the talent and play whoever . Whatever happens happens because the main goal is to look attractive to the big free agents so and losing games doesn’t help regardless how people feel about upcoming draft talent no elite talent wants to go to a franchise depending on high draft picks and not showing growth.

We zigged when everyone else zigged. Decided to tank and rebuild at a time when picks were more expensive than ever.

The problem is, we don't have much to offer the Spurs without compromising our future, when Leonard has one year left on his contract. Not everything works out the way it did with OKC and Paul George.

I’m talking in free agency not via trade. Philly prob not giving up the house knowing they have chance to add him and keep chips.

As it's been reported, the league is not only worried about his injury, but also legit concerned about his volatility as a person/player and I don't blame them. It's the exact reason why I don't want him anywhere on our team, even for the lowest contract possible.

This is why, he has put himself in the best situation possible. He goes to a winning culture, he can learn how to be professional, and around a team that knows how to win.

But his boy Rondo is in LA and they have a very good friendship and he helped boogie grow somewhat and you mean to tell me Lebron couldn’t have help or even magic? That’s just a poor decision by Magic on that one when you had a person Demarcus highly respected in the building already. Demarcus didn’t show out with Davis and Rondo in NO so highly doubt he was going to with Rondo , Lebron and Magic presence.

I could see Jerry West making a play for Kawhi and Kawhi going there.

I think Spurs would trade him there for less before they trade him to Lakers.

lol at Spurs but i'd be asking a kings ransom too

Hoped over to Bucks forum...they think they can get Parker on basically the same 3/33 that Exum got...

I'd be trying for both Parker and Lavine for around 3/45...

Yep, watch the Spurs trade him elsewhere for a lot less.

The Bulls are tanking again this year and they absolutely should.

Explain the positives outside high draft pick in a new lotto situation next year ? Bulls healthy last year prob could win just as many games as the lakers did this past season , some of y’all are in for a rude awakening.

What are the positives of winning? Let the young guys play as many minutes as possible and tank. Get another draft pick and develop the young guys. That's what this season is about. Keep grooming and acquiring assets.

If they sneak into the playoffs to kept swept I'm going to be pissed.

Couldn't agree more...any other year this team as constructed is a bottom 5 team...this year we're maybe top 10 in the East. I say play young guys as much as possible if they are good enough for a top 6 seed great...if not start tanking to get a decent pick...this team would be swept by Bos, Phi, Was or Tor
