This guy really is such an ego-maniac. I mean honestly, I've actually respected him even though he is an idiot, because you can tell that he respects the game, and the history of the game, when most young players could care less about the history. But this is just absolutely disrespectful for the NBA and just total exploitation of it for self promotion. Heck, not just for the NBA but for entire sports.

The formula in Boston was much better, each of the big 3s games fit in with each other... Pierce was the wing creator, Allen the spot up shooter and KG the high/low post threat with great defense. Miami has 3 #1 options. Without the ball in their hand... Lebron, Bosh and Wade are much lesser players. They'll be a force but there's only 1 basketball on the court at a time.

Now in a year or 2 when they add a few key role players they could be one of the best teams ever, but until then... they're 3 great players and a cast of nobodies for the most part.

The Bulls should match up pretty well with them... Deng on Lebron, Boozer on Bosh but Wade will be their advantage, Rose and Noah will be ours... plus we'll have a better bench. It'll be fun to watch!

Bosh alone will make this a trainwreck. Remember last year when he got mad during the season just because he wasn't getting more attention than the other all stars??

The appeal will wear off quick, and he will not like being treated like the stepchild.

I'm not going to be naive, a lot still has to happen, and of course they can win a ring, but I think even if they do, afterwards clashing of egos is guaranteed, ala Shaq/Kobe (times about 50)

Good post, I agree...I do not share the doom and gloom opinion and assume a Miami dynasty. It's not "depth" per se, cause that can be way overrated...but it's the ability of the 3 to stand up to the grind of the regular season, year in and year out while carrying a roster full of garbage minimum players. An injury to one and then the other 2 are playing 44 minutes a night to remain competitive. This could really grind on them physically over time having to carry the load like this.

The Celtics had a lot of their role players in place and the emergence of Rondo. Maybe if Beasley becomes a revelation like, this concern is completely mitigated...but I think it's very real and a Miami title is no slam dunk.
