Was there ever an explanation to why Khalid El-Amin was waived mid-season? The guy played in the Rookie Challenge and had a handful of very solid games, them bam, he was gone. Was there too much Duke-UConn tension going on in the locker room?

Never mind; found an article:

Khalid was like a shorter fatter CJ Watson with worse defense and also worse offense.

lololol at so much in this thread...

speaking of the guys in this thread...my cousin used to meet all the Bulls because she was a miller girl
and

1- she hung out with Eddie Basden and took him to church 2x.
2- I head a voicemail from Duhon saying "UM hi (insert cousins unique name), this is, its Chris Duhon, from the club, from Chris from the Bulls...the other night we met, at um the club but I'd like to talk or see you sometime so I guess just call me... (insert Slidell, LA phone number) she never called him. He sounded like such a huge **** dorkus.
3- Pargo lived in Naperville the first time around or so he said apparently and hed holler at her at night when he was in the city or post practice and ask if he could just crash on her couch. And every time she said no, because, well, its **** PARGO.
4- at the Kendall Gill draft party way back I think it was when the twin towers were picked, Chandler kept walking up trying to take my cousins hand and she was like arent you 16 mother ****?

Oh good times. Too bad she only had scrubs coming at her and during the dark ages, If it was NOW I'd tell her to do whatever it took to get me tickets and to kick it with D-Rose (yes homo)

I was just a tyke during the Jordan era, though I do remember just about all of it (Especially the 2nd 3 peat). I was not a Bulls fan from 1999-2002, then started following again towards the end of Hinrich's rookie year. With that said, there are some years that are not recalled in my memory and (going through these photos) I'm effing glad it's that way.

I'm no advocate for bandwagoners but I will admit it's hard to follow a team when there's absolutely no hope of victory. Not necessarily championship, as I hadn't really believed that possible (for the current team) until right around all-star break this year, but a team that will at the very least compete every night. That's what the baby Bulls were and I wouldn't be posting here right now if if weren't for the Hinrich-Gordon-Deng core.

That'd be true if it was a picture of Luol Deng, but it's Linton Johnson III, he looks exactly like Deng though, I'll give you that one. Didn't really expect anybody to recognize the guy, though, haha.

Lots of really horrible basketball players in this thread. Starks in a Bulls uniform was probably the most painful though. Still blame f'n fatty Krause for that one.

How about Robert Parish though? Wasn't he like 42 years old when he suited up for us? :D

Doug Overton, couldn't find one in the Bulls uniform but then again wasn't with them for too long.

Judging by the expression, he just got the Bulls their 100th point in a win.
