OT Rumor: Paul George and Roy Hibbert's Girlfriend?

Wait so now I am taking random internet rumors as fact because of Hibberts 0/0? Lance and Evan fighting over this? Lance and Evan somehow becoming moral heroes and admirable team mates? Better get to JJ's because I smell more catfish.

Not that it makes it better, but there is some weird s*** with that relationship. Numerous articles (by different sites) identify her the same way. I was trying to figure out who the parties involved were when this story first came out, so I did a search to find which Pacer players were married first. Multiple articles kept identifying her as his wife or fiance. It was really weird.

Maybe true I suppose, but I call BS.

This was sourced by a follower of a site I never heard of. That's what it said on the post. Not even the [sarcasm]highly trusted[/sarcasm] baller mail, but a follower of the site.

Beyond that, the source doesn't know if it's hibbert's wife, finance, and the article later says it's just some girl and neither one. Anything is possible, but it just sounds like total BS.

IIRC the Pacers took some trip or did some team bonding thingy this off season or last off season.
They wanted to bond more and build chemistry.

(makes me wonder if it was a family trip now and where some bonding may have started.......)

What is the one thing that could mess up a team on a mission with what looked like good team chemistry after you've played an 82 game season after you had a pretty heartbreaking ending to the previous season?

These guys had the #1 seed and HCA in the bag.....

They actually made a trade and got a young, talented player for a guy on IR who wouldn't play.....

It was all clicking.....

These guys both just recently got great contracts...

The guys were both All-Stars.....

I'm more interested in watching this series now to see these guys interacting!

Again, not stating that Paul George did do what this gossip article is proclaiming, but lets not be naive about people in the spotlight making denials just to save face and to protect their public image.

i'm not saying that. i'm saying that if he is in fact guilty of doing what is rumored here it is counterproductive to deny it publicly. the public denial has entered the conversation into the mainstream media. it was mentioned on TNT after the games last night

I think this is all bs. Ever since the Lebron/Cleveland fiasco, anytime someone performs poorly or below standards there is some sort of rumors of some teammate sleeping with someone elses family member or fiance or something. We just have this need for scandal and using that scandal as an excuse for poor performance to rationalize things. I am not saying that there isn't something going on behind the scenes, I am sure there is. I don't know if it is so much so that people are sleeping around with other peoples girls. I think it is more of a case losing which in turn leads to bad chemistry which in turn leads to poor trust. The bottom line is that the Pacers were never as good as they started off. From the beginning of the season to 12/31 the Pacers had lost 5 games. I believe they lost 5 games just in Jan. I don't think this is who the Pacers are but they most definitely are not the team in the beginning of the year either. They are somewhere in the middle. They'll end up where they should be, either 2nd or conf. finals fodder. They are not a finals team.

Essentially the Pacers are a team that did think they were better than they were and when they started losing games it went to their head just like winning did. It's like when things are good things are good, when things are bad, well things are bad and that is how this Pacers team is.

Not if she black. He has publicly stated (and got blasted for on social website land) that he doesn't have a thing for black women and they "gettin passed up".

Roy isn't married to Val. They were engaged and suppose to marry on August 31st of last year, but didn't. Which means they were already having problems. They both had bachelor/bachelorette parties and then nothing!

As far as credibility, this is kinda how this stuff works. For something to appear on sites like TMZ, they usually insist on having cold hard evidence like a video, recording etc. Otherwise, its word of mouth, usually from female oriented sites. Rumor blogs are where it was first put out there that Derrick had a child coming and his split from his girl.

PG did a non-denial denial. He did not mention people made up BS but I didn't see where he said 'that rumor is false, you can stop spreading it now'.
