OK - so Lauri and Vuc are probably not the best fit. Too slow footed / unathletic. I'd think that Lauri is odd man out now, and we should trade him for anything of value. Vuc is the frontcourt piece moving forward and he'll need an athletic PF next to him.

Move Lauri for Lonzo? Start Thad and get another athletic big

I doubt the 2021 draft pick has protection on it. The 2023 one hopefully does.

I like the trade, doubt anyone at that 2021 pick will be better than Vuc.

it's a win-now move but we also just acquired a 34 mpg big who fills the offensive post hub role that we've leaned on thad for. i obviously think there's a case to be made for keeping thad, but i would personally lean toward taking advantage of the redundancies on the roster to cash in on a valuable piece who is suddenly less important to the roster.

Maybe move him for another win now piece, but it’s not going to be for a pick.
