I want to see Ayo handle. Dotson is headed for Windy City Bulls

I like Marko a lot. I think he should be in the rotation a bit this year. He stays within the system and doesn’t force it.

They both are at this point. Ayo needs to find some rhythm offensively.

Dotson's size is always going to be an issue, IMO.

It's not just his size. There have been players his size with lots of success. But you need to at least have elite speed, bursts or handles, which he has none of.

Patrick really is a couple years away from this on ball role - it's good to see him try, but man the handle needs a lot of work. If he can master dribbling in traffic, it'd help unlock other aspects of his game.

Agreed. He's very limited. A lot of people here seem to be really high on him, but I've never really been too impressed based on his limited minutes. I just don't see an NBA player when I look at him.

Ethan Thompson looks like he may have something though.

He's got no vision. Very uncreative with no craft.

Whether he settles into his career as a role player or a star player, the difference between those two roles is to whether he can expand his ball handling and footwork in the mid-low post.

If he stays as is, and only makes incriminate improvements, he will just end up being a 3D role player, probably like Snell. But if he can really work on his handles and footwork, that just unlocks a whole lot more to his game. And hopefully being around DeRozan will help, because lots of players come into the league with shaky handles and footwork, DeRozan and Jaylen Brown to name a few of many.

Marko has been the only bright spot.

Dotson is too small and a spotty shooter.

Ayo has nice size and speed but boy, Cooper was the pick there.

Pwill has quite a bit to work on his game

1 he still doesn't seem to be a quick decision maker, he plays like he doing drills with a coach the fluidity isn't there

The ball stops in his hands.

His release is still a bit slow

He needs better footwork and increase on his 1st step.

Right now he just looks the part. Still not seeing 4th pick future star yet.

Ayo and even Patrick is going to look a lot better with better quality players around them, because both a utility players at this stage in their careers, and neither are shooters or natural scorers like some of the young prospects in Summer League.

I think Ayo is going to surprise, but his game just isn't made for Summer League. He will plays his role on both ends, and make the right plays, that type of play doesn't really stand out in Summer League, where everyone is trying to get up shots.

I know the Bulls interviewed Cooper if not worked him out. I wonder if AKME just prefer combo guards over traditional PGs. Not picking Halliburton or Cooper…

He does have elite speed though. That's his thing.

I'm also seeing why Dotson got no burn last year. He doesn't have great pace in the game and seems to be pressing too worried about his nba career instead of just playing doing the right things.

And unfortunately ayo is looking like a guy who got taken in the 2nd round

Simonovic is showing a little something.

I do agree that summer league results are largely irrelevant. Someone pointed out that Rose looked awful during the summer league and that it didn't matter. I'm a little more concerned with Williams' early bad play because he has 71 starts and 2,000 minutes under his belt. This should be easier for him than it has been.

Like how active Marko is, he's stuffing the stat sheet. Despite his lean frame, he plays aggressive that he goes to the line quite a bit and he sets some pretty good screens too. Doesn't shy away from contact.

I cant get excited about anything in Summer league anymore. There have been too many occasions where some players played really well in the summer only to look horrible when the games count.

Im just glad guys are getting reps. Only Marco and Pat will play on the real team.
