Yea, when AC started against the Clips, it seemed like BD was just clearing the way for Coby to make a big comeback.

Let's hope that Coby makes an early impact and gets into a groove.

I don't expect Coby to look good at all tonight, even though it would be ideal if he did. We need his skill more than ever though and the sooner he can return to form the better. his role is so much better being the 6th man. He can even develop into a 2nd squad PG over time but now just his catch and shoot 3 ability and staying in front of his man will be enough. Here is to shaking the rust off quickly. Hope is that since it the left shoulder and he has properly rehabbed it should come back fairly quickly.

ESPN has the Bulls as a 1 1/2 point favorite at the Lakers. Who would have thunk it

Has anybody seen how remarkably similar Zach's & DDR stats have been so far this season? It's quite astonishing.

Player A - 26.1 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 4.0 APG on .496/.367/.865 shooting splits.
Player B - 25.9 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 3.7 APG on .490/.365/.886 shooting splits.

That strongly suggests that when Zach was criticized in the past for not being a winning player, the fault lay more with his teammates than him. Because now that we have a 2nd Zach, we have become good.

It's interesting to see how close the numbers are, you'd think they'd be similar play styles, but in reality.... radically different game styles

I didn't go to last night's game, but I usually go see the Bulls and Clippers at Staples (I live in LA). The great thing about those games is that there are often more Bulls fans than Clippers fans in attendance, so the cheers for the Bulls is usually louder than for the home team. I noticed that a few times yesterday even on TV.

usually i'm not concerned about our size, but i feel like ad is at his best when he's just being an opportunistic garbage man, so i do harbor some fear of him going for 40/20 against our front line

prove me wrong, lil fellas!

It is a legit fear. Luckily there are only a few teams that have that bid of a presence at center but we do not have an answer especially with Vuc out, because he could at least tire AD out on defense.

I was looking at those stats earlier today. I think the big difference is Zach's turnovers.....but some of that an be blamed on his thumb. Outside of that, they were really close. Talk about a 1A /1B situation. What is cool is that they don't get in each others way because the work such different areas of the floor. Although one thing that is interesting is to see Zach do his turn-around jumper this year...especially with DD using it at will. Whole lotta MJ vibe when that happens. One of them needs to start hitting bank shots high off the glass ala Pippen.

These late starts are brutal. If the game were in Chicago we'd have won by now.

Zach's turnovers were significantly down this year until the last two games where he's had 11. Before that period, both he & DDR were the lowest turnover prone players out of the top 15 scorers which is a pretty good achievement. I thought Zach had made some improvement in that area until those two games. It also speaks to how well Demar looks after the ball throughout his career.

Coby White is playing tonight. LeBron is not.

I am excited to see Coby in action, but we have to remember, he's going to be rusty. If he makes two shots on 2-5 shooting and takes care of the ball in this one I will count it as a win. I haven't heard anything about a minutes restriction but I have to imagine Donovan isn't planning on playing him a whole lot in his first game back anyway. 12 minutes sounds about right to me.

I still can't believe how much we booted our PF issues for later. I think we'll look to solve it at the deadline via trade or the buyout market, but wish we had just kept Nance.

I'm afraid that, when we see the penalty for the tampering investigation, it will become clear why AKME pulled Lauri from the SAS trade in favor of Thad and then traded Lauri for DJJ and two draft picks rather than Nance. Either Thad or Nance would be very helpful to our team right now. But there apparently were other priorities, like obtaining draft assets.

While I'm sure he'll take 3-5 games to get back into the swing of things so I'm not expecting too much from him tonight, he should be a huge boost to our bench, especially with Caruso moved into the starting lineup. It should be less of a burden on Zo to be that third scorer, when that's clearly not the type of player he is.

djj has been better than nance this season, so i dunno why anyone would have remorse over getting the better player thus far and a potential first

don't let the illusion of size being important fool you! our team of short kings is prospering
