this game was just a loss, those last two were embarrassments and should count as four.

I'm not Coby's biggest fan, but he seemed to be doing a better job of getting over screens imo.

I feel like the Bulls got up to play this game after yesterday. Sometimes its demoralizing when they put that much energy and effort into something only to come away with a crushing loss. I hope they can dust themselves off and try again, but I don't think they'll be able to motivate themselves to give the type of effort they showed tonight.

You think they'll be too demoralized to beat Orlando (game 7)?

At Memphis?

Iā€™m chalking that one up as a loss and hoping Ayo puts up numbers.

I think so. I actually don't feel good about ORL and OKC either. 3-7 is my prediction for the next 10. I don't think we start winning games until some of our depth returns, back in shape. Even then we have this PF injury problem; DJJ and Javonte are out for the foreseeable future.

I loved AYo's game tonight but I don't think he's a consistent 20 PPG.

Vuc would have to go into a beast mode to open up the floor. Nice to see him get 27, but he's gonna need to do that pretty consistently, and hopefully average more than 6 rebounds.

Maybe Coby has one more gear. But we're pretty thin right now. Our bench offense is basically Matt Thomas and Troy Brown. Surprisingly Bradley outscored each of them.

It would take incredible performance from Demar and Vuc. But we can lay the MVP calls to rest. Demar is having a good season, but he's back to being overwhelmed as a primary option, and while he can generate some great looks out of quick sand, he's not exactly a Lebron/Durant/Embiid type of MVP who can just take over alone and dominate while Niang and Furkan stand in the corner and watch.

So it'd be cool if they manage to somehow win .500 for the next 10, but I don't see it. I think we're gonna be dangerously slipping to play-in 5-7 range when it's all said and done. Which considering we've had about 2 very long stretches of missing more than half of our primary rotation, that'd actually be pretty impressive. 8-)

The play before that when Coby tried to set screen so if Celtics switch, Demar would not be guarded by Tatum but Demar refused and he took a bad tough shot near the 3pt line with Tatum all over him.

Very bad decision by Demar.

Also, I rather have Coby at the top than Vuc. Coby would have better chance at making it.

I wish the Bulls had gone after someone with size or at least gave Jordan Bell a chance.

Instead they gave full year deals to McKinnie and Thomas.

The annoying thing is that its hard to separate how much of this is injuries, how much is the slog of the season and how much is teams figuring out how to play the Bulls. I definitely think its some of the last category.

Thanks for your honesty as it really takes the heat off me. My son told me to turn it on with 4 minute left and I told him they better not lose it lol.

SAME HERE! Ignored the score all night because I didn't want to be bummed out. Watched some football, played with my kids, etc. On a whim checked it and saw they were up 112-106 with 1:45 left. Turned it on to see the end. Now its an hour later and I'm sitting here on my phone refreshing realgm to help me cope.

We all jinxed them.

I cant even be mad about that. It's worked more often than it hasn't this year. DeMar is going to look for his shot in those situations

I don't really have a problem with the ISOs just Demar choosing to drive when the Celtics have multiple defenders trying to stop him.

In the first play, Demar has to know that the double is coming if he wanted to ISO he should've told Coby not to set the screen and just space the floor which he did on the second play. Choosing to dribble into the corner already occupied by Ayo is a bad decision.

Went from phenomenal win to a good loss. Whatever.

Demar needs Zach to be effective.

Ayo/Coby have been great. Those dudes coming off the bench is amazing. We really could use Patrick Williams now a days

That would have been my favorite game of the year if we had won. The guys showed up tonight, all of them.

I have been wondering the same thing, and reaching the same conclusion. Although not from tonight's game ... the squad that we lined up is so different than the normal one that "how to play against the Bulls" didn't really apply for the Celtics. But I think it did for Milwaukee and Golden State.
