I think they actually thought this team would win enough games to make the playoffs. Or at least hoped they would.

I agree..pick a lane and go for it. In this case keep the pick and rebuild.

I don't think they are still trying to tank. I think, we will see the young guys play more if and when that happens.

I absolutely despise how Billy plays Matas. He has a solid first half and then gets played for a random 4 minute stretch in the second half?

It's not easy root for Billy D. I think he's a great coach, but this seems like a mismatch.

I don;t think Vucevic wanted that blow to be so far up past his arms; he was just out of control. But that was still definitely a flagrant 1. Not a smart foul at all, just sheer frustration and lack of focus from a guy otherwise having a banner year.

The version of the Bulls to start the season did have a chance to win enough games to make the playoffs. Fast pace, share the ball, tons of 3s. They've gone away from all of that completely to whatever this is, and without the defense, they're just not gonna be able to score enough to beat anybody. Right now, every team knows that if they just attack the basket, they'll probably go to the line (a lot) and win the game.

It won't show on the scorecard, but Scoot got that put-back by easily jumping over Pat, who hardly got any jump for the rebound or box out. Yet again, a poor play that cost 2 points.

Deni has looked remarkably solid as a primary playmaker.

Sharpe is very talented with the ball in his hands. His defense is weak.

Scoot's having a "good" night, but several times I screamed inside with his decision making. Don't think I'd continue investing in his future, but I dunno - he is really jacked for a guard, and athletic (and energetic - you know, opposite Patrick, as seen with the put-back dunk).

The Blazers farm is on par with our lame drafting, and they've had more top picks. I bet Clingan is a force in the paint- would've been nice to see him play. But they're a frustrating pool of talent. Like us! Still better than us, though!

Stacey absolutely right. Billy don’t hold players accountable.

Stacey openly questioning Billy's lineups...wow things are bad in Chicago when Stacey is in open revolt.

Stacey absolutely KILLING the team, especially Billy and Giddy. Deserved. I knew the Bulls were going to lose this game. I knew they weren't going to come ready to play. Unserious team.

After that Atlanta loss I kind of saw this coming despite the schedule. Team is “sick” right now with very low confidence.

Who is the team leader who is holding the effort of Giddey and PWill accountable?

Was that DDR? Is there no one?

This is more odd than that Pat games. Giddey has played 28 minutes with 2 shots and team worst -13

Are they using this as tape for negotiations?

Zach and Vooch gotta be in on the tank, no? Their ticket outta here isn't to keep helping the Bulls win, because AK will never make that trade if the team is still squarely in the play-in range.

They already have the numbers for the season, so now they just gotta keep playing starter minutes and stay healthy.

Sit Patrick down and watch that play on repeat for 20 minutes.
