I didn't like anything about the effort today. The young guys seemingly don't understand their roles. There is very little internal improvement over the course of the season. At what point do we look at the coach?

I agree. His final stats aren't going to tell the whole story about how he played today.

I'm not a big Giddey guy but the double standard between him and Coby is crazy. Coby seemingly needs to throw up 4 bad shots and commit 2 turnovers before he decides not to play like it's a game at the Y.

I'm not against a coaching change but our young guys aren't talented compared to other young teams.

Team has no plan. Matas should be playing 30+ minutes a night. Who cares if it causes extra losses?

This is the truth.

There is only so strength you can gain being a stick man. Muscle mass equal more strength. He needs to put on a least 10 lbs muscle over next few years. This idea that gaining some muscle mass automatically equals a loss of agility or explosiveness is a fallacy.

A "good" loss tonight. NO WAY we were going to beat Bos with KP shooting like that-it was crazy.

But, I liked what I saw from Matas, Pwill, Smith and Ayo. Those are the 4 guys I want back next year (PWill because there is a TINY bit of potential still, and he's currently a negative contract).

Let the rest go, keep our pick and pray for Lotto Luck

It happened to PWill.. Matas needs to get some mucles, but not too much.. otherwise he will be Billy's new C

Matas has been compared to Andrei Kirilenko and he's was skinny, but strong enough to be productive. If Matas ends up being similar than I think that would be okay.

The foot injury is likely responsible for Pat's lack of explosiveness, and Pat was never a fluid athlete. He was always stiff.

He wasn’t having a good game, these trade rumors might be getting to him or just had a tough one against Porzingis.

What changed for him? Is he healthier or just being more aggressive?

Nothing changed, his shots are just falling now compared to missing every shot. Seems a lil more confident that’s all. He’s still not doing anything special though and hopefully other teams fall for this trap to trade for him.

Hopefully AK is willing to trade him.

Rooting for this team is like playing Whack-A-Mole. This guy has 2 good games, now maybe there is hope for him. Meanwhile the guy we talked up last week had 2 bad games so we don't mention him. Except Zach who reliably delivers and Vuc who mostly does

Yeah I would move Billy, even though coaching changes are 90% acts of desperation, rather than reasoned decisions. But we are at the stage where desperation is what remains.

I think Matas' upside is significantly higher, AK47 was never that explosive or had Buzelis' handles, the between the legs crossover that Matas did to get the basket, AK47 would have tripped over himself. AK was never considered a dunker or high level athlete either.

Matas could be something like a 6' 10" Iguodala.

Did anyone hear Billy's post game comments about Matas? If so, what did you think of them?

Donovan’s Bulls have uniquely been a team that can’t begin to hang with a well-prepped squad. They come prepared? Say hi to an algorithmic blowout.

He wins opening games or unexpected off-nights, but after we upset Boston last time, you knew they’d come back and put on a clinic.

Billy doesn’t throw surprises at you. He believes the team’s as good as it is (not good). Yet he wants them to play hard, for no reason other than it’s right thing to do.

Yet the young players still have to patiently wait for their numbers to be called, and then yanked quickly after a few mistakes.

Anyway, you can tell the apathy and frustration creeping. Vuc’s playing like **** again, and they’re either gonna have to give him away for free or hold him for another dreadful end to the season. I would just cut his minutes significantly- let Jalen play. OKC sent Horford on a vacation to the Bahamas, and he came back to help the Celtics win another ring. Bulls can’t operate outside the box.

That may have been Pat’s best floor game as a pro. He had some great passes and kickouts. Didn’t really lose tha ball. Finally scored using his size at the rim a couple times.

He clearly plays so much better with movement much like Lauri. I want to keep him (we won’t get anything for him) and see what he looks like after Lavine or Vuc are gone as a more primary player with the ball in his hands.
