Cowley is saying the Bulls aren't done yet. KC is also saying we need to get rid of two more players on our roster (likely Craig and Duarte) in order to pull off the Kings trade.

Good point. AK seems to make an added part of every deal that doesn't need to be there. Why give up the 2nd?

Another example are the protections on all the first round picks he gave up. He couldn't protect himself on the first one given up for Vucevic? Or gotten one from Portland that would actually convey (the pick he got for Markkanen)?

The Portland GM must've thought to himself "I can't believe he actually agreed to that".

More trades to come so we’ll see how that effects things.

My take is that being on the middle in the NBA is the absolute worst and that’s where the Bulls have been. Have to get worse to hope to get better. Plus, confirmation that AK is aware that in-season NBA trades are allowed! I truly wasn’t sure if he knew.

Pretty sure I saw KC tweet that they're shopping Craig and Duarte or they could just be waived.

FYI - The 2025 2nd rd pick was already dealt to SA in the DeMar deal

Maybe Lonzo but wouldn’t be surprised if he just stayed to finish off his contract here.

ok backup-level pg, can't shoot, plus defender for his size, will presumably just walk in the summer because we've got enough depth at g

Ak, He DoN't MiSs...

This is pretty awful value for LaVine, it's go they got control of their pick back, but to take on nobody contracts AND give a second round pick back to Sacto is pretty meh at best.

Does this mean they're rebuilding now?

I think Huerter is movable as well if we wanted to do so. Besides that we need to make room for a roster spot I believe so I wonder if they may have another trade lined up already possibly centered around Vuc+.

Just glad we're seeing the ship steering into a direction and not on cruise control like the last 4 years...

If we tank properly we don't have to worry about the pick conveying this season and next season. Top 10 protected and top 8 protected in the second and third seasons.

Absolutely hilarious if the Kings receive a FRP for Zach on draft night (or next year). Then again they’re incompetent themselves.

AK’s screw job with the 2020-24 roster isn’t even complete, yet.
This is what we get in AK's world:

Brother of Tyus Jones, good defensive PG but not much of a shooter.

Hopefully it ends up being Coby was the last player AK inherited.

Also hopefully after trading Coby he then trades himself to the unemployment line.

I wonder if we can flip any of our new guys for picks? They've also had their moments, but all are having down years.
