At least Wade could use this custody thing as a valid reason to escape Miami.

I don't know, I just don't see it.

I'm a Magic fan, but I live in south Florida, and the guy is worshiped like God down here. He has shown little interest in the Bulls all the way up until a few days ago.

Unless that was some super presentation (which it definitely could have been), I doubt just a few hours and time with his home boys really made him change his mind that much.

What in the world would the Heat do to fill out their roster if Wade left? Wow.

They'd have 3 max players worth of salary left.

Next year would suck hard for them, they'd have to completely rebuild.

I'm pretty sure he meant his kids, not his "home boys."

well, they'll have a galaxy full of capspace to rebuild with. They probably wont contend for a while but they can build a solid team quickly with all that available money

:-? Dont know how the hell I missed that? :

Last time I checked, in the case regarding his kids, wasn't he going for full custody? And Siovaughn seemed to be losing the fight, considering she kept missing dates and making outrageous and unfounded claims.

I don't have any homeboys yet, but my wife and I are thinking of maybe trying for some in a year or so. And yes, the plan would be to live in the same city (Chicago) as our homeboys.

He is, and he has temporary custody now because she denied him visitation. I'd be shocked if either one got true full custody. It would be a hell of alot easier on the kids if they both were based out of the same city.

Again, for those who don't remember or missed it, just FYI

Remember that one poster who said he knew of a FA that wanted to sign in Chicago if the Bulls were interested (I think his name was Tyrus or Tyson and then some number)?

He posted that it was Wade since he thought that it was moot at that point and that the Bulls had moved on to LeBron and that Wade had therefore moved on with Miami.

Supposedly Wade is his neighbor or something like that.

You should. Life isn't the same once you have your very own homeboys. Once I accepted responsibility for them, everything fell into place.

I don't know, he had to know he had a shot at Chicago, no matter what Lebron did.

Don't get me wrong, guys, Wade leaving has no bearing on me and I actually do like the Chicago Bulls (they are my favorite team outside of Florida, hence why I'm on this board), but I think they have a stronger chance at Lebron than Wade.

I just can't see Wade pumpfaking Miami like that.

The only thing I could see is if his kids have something to do with the decision. I don't know that he would choose CHI any other way - but if it somehow impacted his two boys I could see it being a possibility.
