There is an awful lot of #1 picks here...after that...all over the board.

EDIT: Sorry, this goes way back in the thread to when we were discussing the likelihood of getting an all-star at various draft pick positions.

Great post, just a few things:

In the era of teenagers being the #1 pick, how many of those guys are the best players from their draft class 5, 10 years out?

And how many of those #1 pick ROY were consensus #1 picks? We don't have anywhere near a consensus #1 pick this year, people have 3, 4, maybe 5 guys who they think should be #1.

It's just like the NFL QB - if you have 3 QB, you don't have a QB.

Folks just LOVE to bring up the 2003 draft, LeBron, Melo, Wade, Bosh. But get real mi amigos, as great as Wade is, and a lock for the HOF, who won a ring basically on his own without a superteam (an aging, declined Shaq, White Chocolate and Toine not withstanding)...

None of those guys are CLOSE to LeBron. Not. Even. Remotely. Close.

I have zero problems with anyone's argument that Wade is remotely close. But he ain't close close.

I really don't mean offense here, but you're an absolute madman.

Thanks for your contribution. Do they let you post like that around here?

Nah Bulls will be a 25 win or less team. The bad start helped and they arent good enough to dig out of the hole.

I hope you right but i have really bad feeling about this 4 game winstreak.

To win 26 games the Bulls would need to play at a .345 winning percentage clip the rest of the season. If Lavine is back at the start of the new calendar year that is certainly not out of the question.

The real question will be how bad do you have to be this season to finish in the bottom 3. There are already 3 teams with more losses than the Bulls, and one team with the same number of losses. If I had to bet on it right now I would bet on the Bulls getting the #6 or 7 pick.

Of course, all that changes at the trade deadline depending on which teams have shed which players to try to lose even more. What a fun league

In his defense, he +1'd my post, so I'll assume he was complimenting my gif skills.

If not....

The guy is a wildman. I really don't agree with his posts or see the world in the same light as him, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy him and the way he's so passionate about his opinions. I really meant no offense and I don't think any was taken. But thanks for the concern Stratmaster.

My apology. I obviously had the wrong impression of the post. My bad.

SMH.

Yeah thanks Jimmy. Thanks for teaching 2 layers you never played with and the guy you froze out what it takes!

And the coach you undermined.

Those 40 minutes nights are going to make him start to turn on thibby once again.

Yep, Thibs killed Luol Deng's career with those crazy minutes. Thibs has a trust problem which can affect the teams that he has coached.

Return to Chicago Bulls
