Teams arent going slower. They will go even faster in the next few years. Its a copy cat league.

Silver is going to have to change something and soon because the league and teams wont govern themselves.

Two easy rule changes that will slow down the game:

1.) Shot clock reverts back to 24 seconds after an offensive rebound.

2.) Handcheck.

Every game being like 120+ and having 20 players average 25+ a game is cheapening the product, IMO.

So I guess Queen if continues to play well makes Zion expendable?

Going underwater to buy a new house isn't good process though. The trade may not be as harmful as it could've been, but they still could end up missing out on a better asset.

Plus, they're still on track to give up a top pick in what is viewed as an incredibly deep draft. I'm glad Queen's playing well though, he's looking extremely promising.

The Queen hate on this board was out of control. Ppl hate guys they’ve never seen play based purely on archetypes. I knew he would be good. I’m taking that victory lap.

Didn't feel like starting a thread about this, but we have a really strange schedule:

We play Cleveland back to back (one on the road and one at home), then immediately play Atlanta back to back both on their home. Later in the season, we play the Nets back to back (one on the road and one at home) and then later Miami back to back (both on the road). Then towards the end of the season, we play Washington back-to-back, both on the road.

This is weird, right?

Yeah, that's a lot. We have 6 mini series on the schedule this year. The NBA has been scheduling more such mini series, but two teams I looked up at random, Houston and the Wizards, had 4 rather than 6.

At which point I asked ChatGPT 5 to compile a list for me, but it wrote back that it couldn't do so, because the task was too hard for it. Dumbass program, I could do this myself in 20 minutes or so, all you need to do is open up each team's schedule on ESPN and scan the list looking for doubles.
