technically any trade could be in the works so i guess that post is not "incorrect," per se

Source?

It works for the Bears. For the Titans, I’d rather have draft picks

I don’t think it works for the bears. Idk why bears fans are so ready to get rid of Moore. He’s a top notch playmaker. He might not be the number one option for Williams but I don’t think that necessarily means he’s not the best WR on the team. If we get rid of Moore, we will be reliant on a second year WR a rookie WR and TE, the most average TE of all time, and a terrible run game. I don’t thibk that would beneficial for us.

But, if Simmons is gettable, I would definitely put in a call. Our 3 and dexter or the guy we drafted in the second would be amazing for us. Might have to give up a better pick tho. I think Simmons beat up his wife or something tho. If that’s the case I don’t want him

I’m not all in on this season, so I wouldn’t have a problem moving on from Moore early. And I do believe Simmons would have a bigger impact on the team than Moore long and short term, given Burden’s potential to fill in.

Would love it for both teams. Simmons is a stud that would allow us to put more pressure while allowing Burden more touches. Would also allow us if Jarrett is healthy enough and wanted to, to trade Dexter for other areas such as RB, DE, or LT, imo. Moore is good, but I wonder if he is content not being the alpha with Rome being the alpha now.

If we trade DJ, we are one WR injury away from being the Giants. Luther Burden is still learning the offense and Rome is taking advantage of DJ getting attention. Not like #1 attention. If we trade DJ, it shouldn’t be until the offseason imo.

it’s a new offense for the whole team. How is it any more of a “learning” situation for Burden than anyone else?

I could go either way on trading DJ. I do think that by the end of the season he'll have proven his worth and had a solid year. OTH, we are deep at WR, and if a trade would help shore up one of the lines, it might be a good idea. Besides Rome and Burden, we have Zacheus, who has looked good, Jahdae Walker, and Duvernay. So I think we could afford to thin that crop out a little. As with most things, the devil is in the details, as to who we'd be getting back.

Definitely should trade DJ - we also have Loveland and Kmet too. Put Loveland in the slot and get him some balls.

for specific stuff, he's not good against man coverage/doesn't create mismatches when guarded 1v1. that was presumably a big reason we drafted loveland, whose route running/separation ability is probably his biggest strength

So Kmet is basically mister Mediocre.

A lot of fans deluded themselves into thinking the Bears drafted "the next Kittle", but I've been saying since 2020 that No, they drafted Austin Hooper.

And thats not a bad thing in and of itself as long as you recognize you have Hooper and dont try and turn him in to something he's not.

TTNL mentioned on their pod that Kap says he was told that Darnell Wright is dealing with a torn UCL. If true, need to get used to Trapilo and Benedet at least short term.

He’s on the older side so depending on the cost but interesting.

I dunno. They just made a desperation trade for Flacco to keep their season going. That doesn't seem like a team that is going to unload win-now pieces.

But if true, I'd be interested at a relatively low cost. He's only got this year on his deal and will need to be paid, so it doesn't make sense to trade away super high-value draft capital.

Dang, feels like Wright has a had a ton of arm injuries in his short career. If you remember, he basically played with a dead arm for the second half of his rookie season. I guess silver lining is these are injuries that shouldnt significantly derail his career/should expect almost full recovery from, but kind of a weird body part to have issues with.

i think making a trade for a win-now guy is really silly considering this season could very easily go south, but hendrickson is a little interesting in that he would presumably return a good comp pick if you let him walk in free agency at the end of the year. if you could get him for a third, that might basically just balance out long term

almost certainly can't get him that cheap though, and i wouldn't be willing to put a second on the table for anyone who's not going to be a long-term fixture on this team
