Leslie Forman wrote:What Miami is really proving right now is how important competent two-way players are in the playoffs. They are completely devoid of them outside of Jimmy and Bam. Dragic is old, Robinson is one-dimensional, Herro is completely useless, and Ariza and Iggy are totally washed up. The loss of Crowder is huge and the Oladipo trade was a disaster.

This means Bam and Jimmy basically have to create all of the offense but also provide all of the defense. Really, really poor from their front office. Especially if they really turned down a Harden deal.

I don’t believe the Harden deal stuff because that is just too stupid but if that is true, Pat Riley must wear a dunce cap the rest of his career.

It is but he has been clowned about it for the past 2 years. At this point it’s like Hardens beard, part of the look. Gali air is trying to help out with his hair.

If Rose didn’t say so many strange things post his injuries and you keep Butler... thus Bulls team would still be a good team and at points would have been able to contend. Glad we blew it up and got Hoiberg.

Julius Randle should buy a dog
I'm not here to argue.

It feels weird and wrong to be supporting the Knicks, but I feel like I'm watching the Bulls right now.

I'd seriously take that pile of mediocrity over the starting lineup here now. At least they'd have all their draft picks.

RJ Barrett and Julius Randle confirming my belief that they are both supremely overrated.

100% agree and you still would have had some late first rounders which might have been OK and developed. Instead well.... I mean that would have been a consistent 2nd road team at least. It is also possible Wade came here and it wasn't the train wreck it turned into

Thibs makes guys play WAY above their heads in the regular season, but that generally fails in the playoffs. This Knicks team does not have any great offensive players.

Who is Pale Pierce? Also we could not keep Niko and Portis. That was not an option after Portis broke his face. Cam Payne was a joke here. No one could predict he would even still be in the NBA let alone a good player.

I am fully embracing the Knickerbulls. Someone call Nate.

As huge of a Rose fan as I am, I sure do wonder what they'd look like with a Melo Ball/CP3 type point guard.

I must be in the minority.....no amount of Trae hatred and DRose/Taj love can override my years of Knicks hatred. Just can't make myself root for them...

Wow, how about the Hawks crowd chanting "overrated" when Randle was at the line? I'm smelling the start of a rivalry between these two teams.

In this weird fiction Thibs is here and he handles that situation.

I’m not cheering against them, but definitely not cheering for them either.

It's not that it fails in the playoffs, they don't have that extra juice and gear in the playoffs, whereas most other teams do.

Feels like an odd choice for ESPN to play Tupac's California heading into commercial of the Hawks-Knicks game.

Ya know, if they ever dominated us for an extended stretch I might have an issue. They didnt though. So no ill will.

An LBJ lead team on the other hand will never receive my support. That may include the Bulls team lead by LBJ at this point. Prior to 2010, definitely would have got over it.

Hopefully but its tough to think what the Knicks might look like next year. At this point if Rose leaves I don't think they are a Playoff team. Yet he might stay and maybe they make a move and get better. Randle and RJ are awful in this series though

Return to Chicago Bulls
