Slow your roll.

Let's make the playoffs and then go from there.

No No Nooo Eddy. Today we drink the cool aid, all of it! We can come down after we are eliminated in the Conference Championship!

Bulls are the 3rd best team in the east now providing they continue to fill out the bench and add a competent backup PF/C.

Embiid is phenomonal but Philly is a 1 man show and he''s always hurt. Atlanta had a fluke season I LOVE Trae Young he was the #1 guy I wanted in that draft but they got really lucky with facing a bunch of injured teams, they'll be the 5 seed next year.

New York lul. That's not a good team, it's just Thibs doing what Thibs does and squeezing every ounce out of guys. Randle is a nice player, Barret might be a baller someday but this is a 6th/7th seed.

That being said, it's simply too hard to suck and suck and suck until you land a franchise-altering no. 1 pick. Zach LaVine is here. He's a popular guy around the league. He's an All-Star. We saw what Devin Booker did this year. The goal now is to surround Zach and make him thrive as much as possible. Compete, make the playoffs, hopefully 2nd round appearance, and show the league the Bulls are back to being competitive. Then, we can strike when the next disgruntled star wants out. These Lonzo and DeRozan deals are not super long-term and can be moved if necessary.

Embiid, KAT, Dame...take note that the Bulls are back to being relevant.

What future?

They are giving two mid to late first rounders, which can be bought every year by giving up expirings for longer term contracts.

They gave up the 8th overall pick for Vucevic, did you forget that?

The Nets are a year older and are fielding a team that is extremely injury prone. Even if healthy I wouldn't rate them above the Bucks right now.

I think it's not out of the realm of possibility that the Bulls finish somewhere 3-5 next year. Philly, BRK and MIL all would look better I'd say, but I think we can be on par with BOS, MIA, ATL. I don't see the Knicks being any better. I would think at worst, we'd be 7-8th.

A healthy KD and an injured Harden were an inch away from beating the Bucks. If there 3 are healthy no one is getting past them.

 is this a joke? the nets!? lol! The EC pecking order is presently & going forward is Milwaukee & then Atlanta. Then you have Philly & New Jersey. After that, it's an utter crapshoot

do you not remember KD almost single-handedly getting by the bucks?

the bulls are currently 7th in the east according to vegas, folks. with a dearth of assets going forward and lavine about to get PAID. time for a reality check: this is what nba hell looks like. settle in. it's a dry heat

Dang dice, my Cheerios don’t taste right.

Incremental steps my friend. Jumping the Knicks and Pacers is progress. Atlanta had a special run last season but they are a prime regression candidate (see Miami this past season).

...that's KD homie, KD will do that to any team in this league. There's not a person on this team like him that they'd have to worry about.

Not saying it was the wrong move. Only time will tell. But acquiring a player in his 30s making a lot of money for the 8th overall pick is the definition of mortgaging the future. It could be well worth it! But that's just what I'm getting at.

Nick Friedell being Nick Friedell says he doesn't like then move and that the Bulls aren't a top 4 team with the roster. He says that they aren't better than the Knicks or Hawks

They haven't proven sht at this point, as of now the Bulls are still a squad that couldn't crack the play in. It's up to them to go out there and prove otherwise.

In fairness to me :D , the only thing AK did that I disagreed with was the Vuc deal. I like the BD hire, love the Williams pick, love the Ayo pick, loved the Theis transaction, etc.

But I haaaaaaaated the Vuc trade. Because I perceived AK had backed himself into a corner because he created a scenario in which he absolutely had to sign Ball.

But then he did sign Ball. And now he’s added Caruso and DD and still has Lauri to play with as an asset.

Frankly it’s amazing and one of the most impressive short term organizational overhauls I’ve ever seen. And the absolute most impressive one that did not involve super-teaming-up.

I bow before the alter of AK’s greatness. He sees further than I. Really incredible stuff. And he’s still not done.

Well to be fair to you Duck. You and DT are my favorite posters among a gallery of GREAT.

I love you guys and the highballs are going to start flowing.

PS - Duck, that only counts when you're not talking DRose. Then I put my fingers in my ears and say naynaynaynaynaynaynaynay...

Great.I prefer just to keep watching the Bulls going to the playoffs as deep as they can, just tired of following other teams playing the playoff game and nostalgic about United Center's great fanbase rooting hard for the Bulls again.
