African Kobe!!! :o :o :o

So Jordan the 3rd? I'll take it.

*Jordan the 4th, don't forget the Hungarian Jordan Kornel David.

From the highlights he kind of plays like Derozan…Get him for insurance for when Demar gets older lol.

We forgot about Harold Miner.
Anyway Bulls need to do something.

I think it’s great that AK is searching the corners of the world for talent. Bulls need to stack their GLeague team just like MLB teams do.

It was meant in jest, do you know who Kornel David is?

Edit: judging by your next post it seems you were aware it was a joke, my bad.

What's everyone think of Dalen Terry?

Stats aren't eye popping except for his ast/to ratio, but good measurements: 6'7" with a 7 foot wingspan, combo guard with good bounce and a good shooting stroke.

Diamond in the rough? Or just solid role player?

I could see him being a Danny Green type of role player that is a top tier role player but not a spectacular individual talent.

I’m intrigued. He had some spot starts at PG against good competition and did well. Still 19 despite being a sophomore. Vecenie said on his most recent pod that he has Terry as a top 20 pick. I wouldn’t be mad if the Bulls drafted him.

What an impressive kid. He's got the NBA body and then some. Good leaper. High motor. Very High BBIQ. Comes with 3 years experience in a tough league. He's ready to step in as a 3/4 off the bench in Year 1. Has enough of a jump shot that he won't be a black hole on offense. But obviously he would be a 4th or 5th option in his first couple of years. He has great switchability defensively. He can guard 1-4. Maybe even small ball Centers. After he gets his feet wet I can envision him in a defensive lineup of Ayo, Caruso, Ball, Patrick and Liddell. They'd smother teams that don't have a big "all league" center.

For me it's a matter of what fits us best. I think Kendall Brown has the athleticism to be a very good 3 & D wing. He's only 19. Tremendous leaper. Gets after it defensively. But realistically he'd probably barely get playing time in Year 1 unless we have another season of injuries and Covid cases.

Brown has a higher ceiling, but a lower floor. Liddell fits our time frame better with the current roster, and he comes with a higher floor for sure. But if Zach walks away we'd be in a rebuilding mode yet again. Then Brown would make more sense. Either guy though would make a nice addition to our roster. Just no Patrick Baldwin. Too un-athletic. I'm 65 years old and I probably have a higher vertical than he measured at the combine.

Liddell looks like a slightly bigger PJ Tucker to me and I mean that in the best way. High motor, good bball IQ, sneaky athletic and switchable defender, with a reliable 3 point shot. As you said, it doesn't solve the Embiid or Jokic problem- but then again I don't see anyone at 18 that does either.

AKME: Draft Liddell. He knows how to play. I don't care if his wingspan is "only" 7'-0". He blocks a lot of shots even at his height. He has a high BBIQ, especially on Defense. You look at his highlight films. He doesn't give up on plays. He competes. He won't be a black hole on Offense. I think he could practice his way to being deadly on corner 3s as a 4th or 5th option. He will be playable in Year #1. He can switch to cover 1-4, even small ball 5s. He's insurance in case Patrick gets injured again. I love Caruso, but not playing the "4". Then, make a deal to somewhow pick up a high second rounder and try to get Kai Sotto. Real potential there.

Actually think he has more ability to be better offensively regarding he has some low post fadeaway and a great mid range game. If he can be PJ defensively without all the whining, that would be awesome.

On separate note, I hope we can buy a 2nd rounder as I feel there is some good talent in 2nd such as Diabate, Juzang, McGowens, Roddy, but also Kofi Cockburn. Watching last night's game, the small ball works in spurts, but at times you need some kind of inside scoring. I think that can be done through slashing or even in doses, low post. I feel having a Kofi off the bench that can get you some inside scoring when 3 point shots aren't falling in small dosages could be a useful aspect. While many teams are doing the 3 and D type roles, I do feel there are huge scoring runs and huge scoring droughts, that having some other opportunties to score can still be a part of the game.
