Uhh, they just drafted WCJ.

If the Bulls' front office tried to feed a poison pill to Daryl Morey, I have no doubt who ends up swallowing it.

heir_jordan22 wrote:Bulls should do a sign and trade for Parker. Bucks have no roster space, and not enough money even if they waive a couple guys.

Options:
1. Lopez
2. Asik and Nwaba/Holiday
3. Felicio and Nwaba/Holiday

Dunn/Holiday/Payne
Lavine/Valentine/Holiday
Parker/Ennis/Hutchison
Markannen/Portis
Lopez/Carter/Asik

.

I wonder what our actual depth chart will be: we still need a point guard and a wing. I say bring back nwaba, bring back Vonleh, and add Tyler Ulis

so: dunn, Payne, Ulis
Lavine, Nwaba, Holiday
Valentine, Hutchinson, fa
Markannan Portis, Vonleh
Lopez Carter Felicio Asik

what kills us is felicio and Asik. Two centers who can barely play. I'd say waive or buy out both; and bring in some guys who can
actually play. If Felicio lost weight, maybe he can stay. for our 3rd sting small forward, see who gets cut; and bring someone in ala Nwaba from last year.

I have faith Felicio will become respectable, but we not gonna see that till year 3 or 4.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Yeah especially since the two sides seem to be $40 million apart. They'd probably just let him walk.

The Bulls originally signed him because....?

Did they do it for a few wins to end the season?

im not even mad at ole kildraftpick anymore, wendall carter made me forgive him for those unnecessary wins down the stretch.

i will forever remember those games where i was absolutely frustrated watching this walk on kill our draft position in the 4th quarters. cant be mad at him competing though, really on the front office for picking him up. hopefully he lands on his feet, he has some talent. just would advise any team wanting to tank to not pick him up.

Nice one, Bulls.

Can somebody remind me again the point of his signing?

I'd guess Felicio will be playing for the Windy City bulls for the foreseeable future. He probably makes more money than all gleaguers combined.

The only reasoning thrown out there was that it was a favor to his agent.

Great to see where their priorities are.

Actually, it makes sense to develop good relations with agents. Future FA signings do not happen by accident, there's a significant amount of relationship building that is required. Kilpatrick did kill the tank maybe one position, but we lucked out an landed Wendell, so I'm not fussed about it.

Building good relationships with agents should never work against the overall vision of the team-build. It did in this case.

And if we're just doing his agent a solid then sign him and don't play Kilpatrick a minute.

Developing good relationships with agents certainly has a place in strategic planning as some agents can be very influential in where certain guys go and often for what. These guys pay agents good money to give them solid career advisory. So it only makes sense that you’d want to be in a good space with the people that are most often in the ears of the players.
