Yes. With the most online support of any prospect in the draft.

MANILA, Philippines — Kai Sotto has worked out with three NBA Eastern Conference teams so far and he’s been invited to attend more camps as word got around that the 7-3 center is turning out to be a revelation more than a project. Brett Siegel, writing in Fastbreak on Fan Nation in si.com, placed Sotto as the Sacramento Kings’ second round pick, No. 49 overall, in the draft on June 23. Only 58 players of 270 applicants will be chosen on D-Day.
The rumor is Sotto has worked out with the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers although only the Magic invitation was confirmed by hoophype.com. “His performance is improving workout after workout,” said a source close to Sotto. “At first, he couldn’t believe he was finally in an NBA atmosphere, his heart was pumping with excitement and nervousness. Workouts are solo trips. He flies in the day before, checks in at a hotel and the next morning, works out for two to three hours then is interviewed and leaves for the airport.”
Sotto, 20, said he’s prepared to do what it takes to make the NBA grade. “On the physical side, I have to get stronger, faster,” he said. “On the mental side, growing up in the streets of Las Piñas, physicality was normal for a kid playing against construction workers, tricycle drivers. That helped me be prepared mentally. In my career, I was always one of the youngest guys, playing with older players.” NBA agent Joel Bell said the “single thing that makes (Kai) different from every other player is what’s between his ears, it’s his basketball IQ (and) he’s going to be an incredibly valued (player) to an NBA team winning (because) there are very few players his age, his size, his position that you can trust to make (the right) decisions (in a game).”
Sotto said two NBA players whom he’d like to pattern his game after are Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic. “If I try to learn from them and get a combination of both, that would help me as a player,” he said. “The aggressiveness of Giannis and how Jokic plays the right way. I believe in God and if I put the work in, God will put me in the right place at the right time so it’s just faith and for me, keep my focus and keep on working.”
