Pop is 75 years old. He has a star. Vassell and Sochan are both good. They have 2 top-10 picks to add to the rotation. They could use a veteran to speed things up. Pop is close to Zach Lavine and coached him at the Olympics.

They are loaded with future first-rounders

Could do Lavine for Johnson, Branham, and a future 1st.

Spurs will probably be my new favorite team if that happens. As long as Lavine stays healthy, he will earn that superstar money playing with Wemby.

Drummond also makes a ton of sense there

I'd love Buzelis, I think he's going to be a stud, he'd be a steal at 11 IMO.

I’m not high on Matas but at 11 you take him.

The three players I want nothing to do with at 11 are Salaun, Cody Williams, and Collier.

Any of these guys drop and I expect AK to pick them
- Knecht, Clingan, Holland, Matas

I’d take TDS over all of them at 11. Except Holland.

I still want the Bulls to pick up a 2nd later FRP (either trading back or just trading for one).

I'd love to come out of the draft with Kel'el Ware and Tyler Smith.

I’ve been saying this for awhile. Ideally we get shooting and a big.

I’m fine with Smith late. Don’t want Ware. As a Hoosier alum I watched every one his games and he has no motor. He’s FAR WORSE than Pat.

I’d love a TDS Shannon draft. Or Knecht Misi. Or Holland Edey.

I think the top 10 players are a lock…
Sarr, Topic, Reed, Risacher, Castle, Matas, Dillingham, Clingan, Knecht, Holland.

Does Salaun or Cody Williams rise and push someone down? Whoever drops is who we take IMO.

Salaun would be my number 1. Huge upside and would add to what we need.

I can be talked into Knecht but I am worried about his age.
Tristan Da Silva has been climbing and is interesting.
Filipowski is falling for reasons I don't understand.

I'm just trying to see mathematically what would need to happen to ensure one of my faves are available. Would need Collier, Shepherd and Castle to definitely go top 10. That would leave the following available in no particular order:

Sarr
Risacher
Topic
Holland
Clingan
Buzelis
Knecht
Salaun
Williams

Obviously Sarr and Risacher will be gone top 3, but if everything else works out, that should leave us with a some talent. Still sticking with Holland, Salaun, Williams and now Buzelis as my desired targets. All would add some young athleticism to this team.

I really don't understand how Clingan fits the modern NBA but he is climbing. This report indicates a bit of why https://www.nba.com/news/bleacher-report-how-2024-combine-changed-latest-mock-draft

He and Eddy would certainly be off any list I made.

Salaun is basically a 6’9 Javontae Green.

No real offensive skill. Just energy and hustle.

With the success of Gobert and Walker Kessler, large bigs who can protect the rim, but aren't super mobile have a definite fit. I do still question how he'll defend on the perimeter of of switches and PnR motion, but it's still a possibility he's successful.

Somebody, quick tell his camp that we're set with Coby/Ayo/Caruso and Lonzo.

Sweet. I feel like he continues to be overlooked. In my opinion it’s entirely possible that he’s the best player from this draft in 5 years.

Of course in this draft that could be any one of about 20 guys. But Castle is my guy in this draft. We won’t be taking him of course for a variety of reasons, but I’ll be keeping an eye on him.

Castle to Spurs at #4 seems very possible.

Can someone else explain to me the hype on Salaun ? He looks so more different in highlights vs actual games. In full games he looked completely lost at times. The tools are attractive but his game right now is not.

I would rather have other players in our range or hope one of the top 10 guys to fall to us. Which seems likely since Carter and Saluan are getting top 10 buzz.
AKME? More like MEAK with how they're afraid to make a move to push us in one direction.

Nah Salaun is a project. He's more raw than Pat was.
