Eventually people will turn on the precious Miami Heat, you'll see.

I've said this before. Shooters are a dime a dozen. Big game shooters aren't as common. I expect Anthony Morrow or some random shooter that we've mentioned to probably out shoot Shane Battier or Mario Chalmers in the gym. We need them to knock it down during big stages.

No denying that. Went cold, but he also won or help them win ball games.

Oh well, the Spurs did a lot better than i expected.

I dislike Miami as much or more than most of you.

That being said, man up & give credit when it's due. Lebron played like the #1 player in the NBA this series & the Heat showed just how damn good they are in this series. This team is able to to turn it on whenever they choose.

As a NBA fan, I'm happy to have seen a great seven game series for the NBA title. The Spurs gave it a good shot, but going up against a team that has 3 franchise players & several ring-chasing assassins coming off the bench is not easy to overcome.

Watching these playoffs, I learned that Derrick Rose remains the best PG in basketball. Other than LeBron, who's basically a glorified PG. Parker, Paul, Curry are incredible players, but they aren't Derrick.

He was quoting Lil Wayne, boys.

In my mind, Lebron is already a top 5 great of all time. To me, he was that before this game and his second title. The guy gets like 36 and 12 in a game 7 in the Finals and people still find a way to downplay what he does. If you hate Lebron though, take solace in the fact that he's still only got 2 titles to Kobe's 5 or Jordan's 6. He's got a ways to go to catch them, and he probably won't get there. That doesn't change my personal opinion of him, but if you hate him, you can always fall back on that fact.

Looking ahead to next year, it's hard to envision anything other than an OKC-Miami rematch. OKC is just better than Memphis, and that's the only team that I can think of that might challenge them out West. In the East, the Pacers and Bulls will get talked up as challengers to the Heat, they'll both beat the Heat a few times in the regular season, and then one of them will have the pleasure of losing to the Heat in the ECF. The Bulls just don't have enough playmakers (seeing as how they have only one) and ditto with the Pacers.

I think it was Rerisen who said this, but it's amazing (and disturbing) how much Spoelstra has to work with when it comes to shooters. On any given night, you'll see someone else get hot from deep. He's got quite a few options.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

I'll give away my first born if we could be healthy for a few playoff runs. I'm so tired of us being hobbled or missing key pieces during the most important time of the year. Or maybe we can get 3 top 15 players and a **** load of jump shooters and hope 2-3 people show up a game.
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.

I'm praying that DRose really did improve his jumper and still has that ability to get by guys at will. Imagine CP3 like jumper added to Drose ability to get to the rim :o

These last two games...breathless competition. I was just cheering as a fan of the game. Blown away by it. There are probably 6 HOF's in this game in Duncan, Parker, Pop, Lebron, Wade and Allen. It was great theater. LeBron was awesome. Best player in the game. Not close for second.

If the Spurs can't beat them then no one can, how long will the NBA be **** with the Miami Heat?

Miami may be able to win one more, but I think that's it. One more long season for Wade and he's gonna be done.

Is this where we say that Miami dominated everyone and no one in the NBA stands a chance of beating them?

Kudos to Miami, but SA gave them that series. Game 6 was an epic choke job. Miami was also a hair away from losing to Indiana.

Oh well, onto a pretty crappy basketball summer and another year of Miami knob slobbering.

Definitely a knee-jerk reaction. But guys I'm scared. I don't see anyone knocking Lebron down now. He looks hungry

I'm not sure whether the Heat winning is good or bad for the Bulls. On one hand, they might not be as hungry now that they've won back to back titles, and they are likely to keep the same team together instead of doing trades and trying to improve. On the other hand, their confidence is high and they are bound to attract even more random dudes who can light it up from 3.
