that's quite a ridiculous statement.

yeah, he was double-teamed and found the open man. nothing notable

If he can stay healthy, he is going to be a beast. I wouldn't bet against NOP making a huge run once he is playing regularly.

He and Ingram are a great duo fit wise too.
God damn, the Pels are really set if both these guys can stay healthy. Especially when you consider the other young players and draft picks to work with to build the perfect team around those two.
MrSparkle wrote:Zion is going to be a fun player, but basically the same situation as Embiid. Exciting as hell when he plays, but the injuries and load management are gonna be real. Also, I don't think he'll shoot 4-4 from the arc very often, although it was really cool that he made that statement in his debut game (after a bad 1st half). He's got superstar blood.
But boy is NOP lucky for getting a break-out Ingram and Lakers' future picks. The 2024 or 25 unprotected 1st pick option will be as Lebron is 39 going on 40 and Davis is 30 going on 31. It's not that hard for the Lakers to just shop for free agents the off-season prior, but you never know in this league.

The #6 pick for a second rounder ... typical. It damn near costs an All Star to get a #6 draft pick these days, but most 'em can't really play. This is as much of a seller's market for draft picks as I've ever seen.

Nope. Like I said in the other thread, the speed of recognition he showed there was way quicker than you'll see anyone on this team ever show. If that situation had happened here, the passer, whomever it was, would not have passed it until Ingram was already in the paint. By the time Zion had started the motion of the pass, Ingram had just barely even started his move towards the paint.
It is the execution of those "simple" passes that separates a good passer than just some guy. It looks easy because they made it look easy.
