Kind of crazy we don't play the Packers until like week 11. But looking at the schedule there's a decent chance the Bears are 7-3'ish going into that 1st Packer's game with 10-6 feeling like a fairly realistic potential outcome (I'm assuming the Packers beat us twice).

Welp, Dalton is the guy I wanted the Bears to get, and holy cow he looked good in that game winning drive. Teams should have looked at his situation, playing for the worst franchise in the NFL for a decade, multiple pro bowls and playoff appearances, and seen he has some left in the tank. He made throws in that drive I haven’t seen from any Bears QB this season.

Small sample size, but he may have Dallas rethinking giving Dak a ton of dough this offseason.

Jimmy G was benched I think. Significantly strengthens his chances of getting cut. For the right price he'd be a good pick up

Sucks for Dak. Thought he was nuts for not taking the 100-105M guaranteed or whatever it was.

would've really been a shame if this happened LAST year. at least he's set for life now. made less than $5 mil over his first 4 seasons combined, this year he got over $30 mil

Isn't a broken ankle not close to as bad as a torn ligament? He could be back in 6-8 weeks.

vikings and eagles had chances to recharge their seasons. vikings blew it, eagles rally comes up short. dallas looks to be a lost cause as well after dak's injury. everything's coming up bears

SF looking terrible was the biggest one. The North should have two teams, the South might get a second and the West is looking like they might get two WC spots.

Don't think the Panthers are a thing, SF is wrecked by injuries and benched Jimmy, NOLA isn't the NOLA of last year and the East SUCKS. Not buying Arizona either.

He’s going to be in a cast for AT LEAST 4-6 weeks. Then he’s gotta rehab that thing. Gotta remember it was a compound fracture that protruded through the skin. This is at least a 4 month affair for him. Easily.

He was playing on a bum ankle that wasn't fully healed. I don't think they're moving on from him, and he's really not all that good anyway. Fans out here are really turning on him.

Falcons gm got fired. He’d be a top replacement candidate for Pace if things go wrong

My mistake then. I see that most people expect him to miss the rest of 2020.

what has he done poorly outside of stick with the coach for too long? Maybe the defense has been hit or miss but his hits have been great. He built a really really good team.

dougthonus wrote:Right now if you were to put odds on the Bears games the rest of the way, would it look like this?

Panthers - Favorite
Rams - Underdog
Saints - Underdog
Titans - Underdog
Vikings - Favorite
Packers - Underdog
lions - Favorite
texans - Favorite
vikings - Favorite
jaguars - Favorite
packers - Underdog (unless Packers are resting guys)

I think that's reasonably conservative and still makes the Bears the favorite in 6/11 games. Figure you pick up an even number of games you're an underdog in as you drop as a favorite and the Bears are at 10-6 and in the playoffs.

panthers 2.5 point favorites on sunday despite no mccaffrey. i think it's possible that vikings will be favorites in minnesota week 15 as well depending on how the season progresses

i should note that there has been no discernible home field advantage thus far, although surely there is SOME advantage to not having to travel/stay in hotel/play in unfamiliar stadium. still, the oddsmakers may be overestimating home field advantage this season
