Well that sucks. I'm not getting the feeling LeBron is coming either. I think I would now try and sign Lee. I don't think he is quite as good as Boozer. However, he is younger, has better history with injuries, works his ass off, and will come cheaper. I wonder if Monta Ellis can be had for SG.

I've seen Miami when J O'Neal had big games, and that's all we're talking about with Bosh, he's not even a great defensive player or great rebounder. I'm not convinced Miami improved their team much at all.

We would have still been waiting on Bosh & Lebron regardless of what Wade did. He didn't slow them down from doing anything.

keshmoney wrote:People need to calm down. Yea, Miami now has Bosh and Wade, but if we can get Allen + Boozer, I think we have one of the best starting lineups in the league.

Rose is a top 5 PG, Deng is a top 10 SF, and Noah is a top 7 Center. (All of whom are young and will get better)

If we can add a sharpshooter in Allen, a top 10 PF in Boozer, and some decent role players, we should be fine.

Only way Allen leaves here over staying in Boston is if he gets massively overpaid.

If true this leaves Miami with about $17mil and 8 roster spots to fill ??????

Considering all the money still out there to spend on free agents, I find it a little hard to believe they'll be able to fill the remaining roster spots with any kind of decent quality.

Bosh is more athletic and not as physical. By the way, Bosh, who's that center you wanted to play next to? Joel Anthony?

Bulls have to get Lee or Boozer right now. They need a PF and James has made up his mind (wherever that may be) since he's announcing it Thursday. Get one of them quick before they're off the market and we can go from there.

Except in an opposite way. NY thinks this means they have LeBron.

This.

Don't know why everybody panic, Miami with Bosh is still not a contender to anything.

Actual Bulls + Lee (or Boozer) + descent SG (Ray/Morrow or whatever) are still better.

While I continue to believe Miami will be Lebron's destination, I am now convinced that Lebron isn't coming to the Bulls no matter what. The key was where Bosh ended up. Had the Bulls received a commitment from Bosh, Lebron would have been tempted to join the Bulls. Not now.

Again, the only scenario that is truly demoralizing is if LeBron joins the 2 in Miami.

Any other scenario, including LeBron to NYK is not really that threatening. Nor is it a lock for the championship.

Let's not forget that we have 2 holes to fill in SG and PF and there are still starter quality players and in some cases all-stars available to fill these spots still.

We could load the bench and go back to hard nosed Bulls basketball.....or we could wait until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. Either way we are still OK as long as the triumvirus does not happen in Miami.

Btw, I was always concerned with D-Wade; he is too slick and too fickle to be trusted.
For love, not money.

So does anyone think the FO overreacts and trades for a Al Jefferson? Or maybe takes on Brands contract to get Igoudala?

meh. this was expected since day 1.

and Lebron will just re-sign with the Cavs otherwise there will not be much fanfare/hoopla in a 1 hour ESPN special.

we the biggest losers of this 'sweepstakes'. Knicks at least got Amare.
