Then go talk to the Bucks about a Noah, Bobcats pick, and pick from Suns for Larry Sanders

Wouldnt happen, but that would be great. Give the Bucks more picks for their rebuild. We give a defensive star back and he is younger.

So we trade the better player and 2 good picks for Larry Sanders? Really?

He is 25, avged 9 and 9 last year and was only improving. As good on defense or possibly better than Noah. The picks would be around 18-20. Dont want too many rookies on the team. Friendly deal of 4yrs 44mil starting next year. Only reason I wouldnt do it is because of character issues. But they say a team can handle 1 problem player in a locker room.

Starting lineup and current age for next year:

Rose (25)--DJ (26)
Butler (24)--Snell (22)
Bulls 2014 1st (19-21)--FA
Mirotic (22)--Taj (29)
Sanders (25)--FA

That deal still makes no sense. Sanders, if anything, is a slight upgrade over Noah. You, however are making a deal for Larry Sanders that people on this board wouldn't make for LaMarcus Aldridge.

If there was an Offensive Foul button next to the And1 button, you would get it.

I think we need to be a little more realistic in this thread. There will be no inclusion of assets by Phoenix in any potential deal with us. I think we are strictly looking at Okafor and a 1st for Deng straight up, if anything. It makes no sense for them to throw in anything else of positive value.

Blazers would laugh at Noah and 2 1sts (in the high teens to early 20s) for Lamarcus. At least now, but most likely before the year too. I know last year was a really weak draft, but Blazers turned down the #1 and #19 pick.

All of that for Larry Sanders? Rofl, you can't be serious. We already have Sanders, his name is Taj Gibson.

Yeah, but two first rounders in this draft and you could move from something like say, 16 and 17 (Washington pick from PHX and Charlotte pick) to 11 or 12 if someone like LaVine falls to there.

Having 3 rookies like Mirotic, LaVine, and Parker would go a long way towards rebuilding and I think Parker and Rose would actually bond very quickly due to their Simeon roots and "hometown hero" status.

Then Taj, Noah, Rose, Augustin, and even Jimmy serve as vets next year. Bring back Nazr in the Big Sexy role and maybe even keep Dunleavy. I wouldn't worry about 3 rookies with those vets and Thibs.

I've really fizzled on the idea of keeping Jo, I don't think he gives us the inside presence we need. He's 6'11 with a 7 ft wingspan supposedly yet guys like Hibbert can make a living off him mostly. He gets bullied down low and I think we need a stronger presence.

I'd be ecstatic if we moved him and Deng. I think as many picks in this draft the better. And we free up cap if we take in good contracts.

Likely Thibs walks and that's just fine I'm tired of him.

Basically you want the Bulls to just nuke this team. :o

No that'd be illegal & the UN would be involved.

We need to change our center, love Noah but he's injury prone & a liability usually down low. We gotta do what we can to avoid a rebuild & I think we can do that with NBA ready guys through the draft & freeing up cap to get great roleplayers.

I don't particularly believe Schanowski's rumor. But if you do, it has to be Okafor plus players, because otherwise, there would be no reason the deal couldn't be consummated immediately. The CBA says that because Okafor was recently acquired we have to wait until the 25th to be able to acquire him in a package.

Honestly, even with other players its possible the deal could be done now because it most likely could be split into multiple trades if there were multiple players.

If Schanowski is actually true, I really think the only thing that could be holding it up is Gibson's "BYC" status, which means nothing until January 15th. And that aligns with the original rumor.

i dont buy this AT ALL and if we give deng to the suns we sure as hell dont want their pick, they are a lower seed playoff spot in the west already and with deng they could get 4-5th seed...

That's not really a great pick IMO

A 1st is a 1st, I'd prefer the Lakers but oh well.

Wonder if Nuggets want Lu.

We could get Washington or Minnesota pick from them. Just make the trade conditional and say you want whatever pick turns out to be the highest out of the 4 they currently have the rights to.

As a Suns fan, i come in peace.

I have been one of the posters on our board (Suns) who have mentioned this Deng to Phoenix trade a few weeks back and think its a great idea for us. I think the universal trade that is mentioned the most (Deng for Okafor/1st) would be perfect for both teams. Now something else that i mentioned on our board that i have also seen here is talk about Noah being shipped out for assets. One of the assets that i see you guys covet in a Noah trade is a young C with potential (i see Addams named, as well as Sanders). Would you guys be open to this:

Deng/Noah for Okafor/Len/Green/2 2014 1sts

Len has been out since his surgery (he had an ankle injury prior to the draft, and our super medical team had them also operate on his other ankle as well for precautionary reasons). He could have been playing for us for about a month now, but we have been on a roll and Plumlee has been doing well holding down the fort at C, so we have decided to bring him back slowly, making sure not to rush him. He has outstanding potential and was highly looked at as possibly the 1st pick in the draft. So with this trade, you guys would be getting essentially a large expiring (Okafor), a so-so SG/SF that has been playing well for us this season (Green) and 3 1st round picks (Len & 2 2014s).

I don't see the value for the Bulls actual FO to do this deal, they wouldn't give up Noah last summer to get Aldridge but now they're trading him and the best asset coming back is Alex Len? The value is a little low for a Noah trade but it's not insulting.

Cause a 4 month Deng rental is worth last year's #5 and a future late teens 1st rounder? O.k.

Just makes no sense. Don't know where these rumors are coming from but they are hogwash.

Yep. McDonough has said repeatedly that he's not trading assets for temporary gain. If it's players who're under contract like Noah/Butler I'd be for it but a rental like Deng is meaningless.

Agreed. It's a start, but we're talking about a top 3 defensive center in his prime years, who is on a good deal even.

I like the Deng for Okafor/1st deal, though. But adding Noah changes the complexity of the entire deal.

I think this is actually a pretty interesting idea if the Bulls want to go for a more full rebuild. I also remember hearing that the Bulls FO was high on Len. That said, if we were sending out Deng and Noah, I'd probably want all of your 1st round picks this year or at least 3 of them.

Deng for Okafor/ 1st just makes sense.

Not interested in dumping Noah for Len though. We could do better if we're going that route.
